Why is Twitter trying so hard to prevent Elon Musk from taking it over?

Musk jokes around with all kinds of people on Twitter, I don’t see how this is indicative of anything.

Yeah, that was so hilarious even his incel army took him to task.

He seems to love Dems and paying taxes. Not to mention that Musk hates the idea of unions or collective bargaining and is also very prickly about class action law suits.

I suppose it would prudent seeing as he plans to mass produce self driving cars to have a friendly government presence that would put less regulations in place and would be less likely hold Tesla responsible for casualties from mishaps that the cars may cause.

Of course I could be wrong and all you star struck incels right about Musk and he's actually really irl Tony Stark and all around sweet guy. Remember when he called an innocent man a pedophile on Twitter for helping to rescue that trapped soccer team?

Seems anytime a dem tweets about paying taxes he gets in a mood.

Ooh it's coming.. But fair enough.

The DNC and its propaganda press have you so programmed that you're sending angry tweets to Elon?   If the lefty press hadn't been throwing a temper tantrum over losing control of Twitter,

Don't like it? Make your own Twitter (wait there's more)

An appeals court finds Florida's social media law unconstitutional : NPR

Anyone here who knows anything about how the constitution or law works knows these snowflake FL and TX bills will go nowhere.  Just like how the Disney copyright lunacy will go nowhere. This is cancel culture from the right, but they aren't even trying sound legal methods to do it.

It was all theater for the easily duped

It’s being reported that half of Biden’s 22 million followers are bots/inactive accounts.

This is why the deal was put on hold. It seems very likely that more than 5% of Twitter users are bots. If that’s the case then Musk is very much entitled to re-negotiate the deal considering that the original terms were not accurate.

LOL he's parroting Musk's excuses for backing out of the deal, by trying to change the subject over to Biden.

And, Twinblade also ate up the Musk tweet about him supposedly being a Democrat...............he was never a Democrat.

He said that..............because he was selling electric cars, you fucking dumbass......how dumb can you be to not get where the MARKET for EVs is coming from.

And.........Twinblade fell for that Musk distraction, because of the REAL STORY about Musk that went live later on during that day.

This is why Trump wanted Ukraine and Zelensky to "open an investigation" on Joe Biden.

They already know that Joe Biden, or Hunter Biden, didn't do anything.

They just wanted "an open investigation" on Biden...............so that idiots like Twinblade and Ramza can say "there's an INVESTIGATION GOING ON!!!!!!!!!! BOOM, proof he's guilty!!"

Congrssional Republicans made 11 separate INVESTIGATIONS into Hillary Clinton and Benghazi.

because they wanted Fox news, every day, to repeat the phrase "the Hillary Clinton INVESTIGATION"............so that right-wing dumbasses can say that she's guilty..........y'know..............because there's AN INVESTIGATION.

Even though Republicans have determined, in all 11 of their "investigations".............that Hillary Clinton committed no wrongdoing. They even wrote it down on their OWN Congressional report when they wrapped up the "investigations."

See, dumbasses like Twinblade and Ramza don't actually have any proof of wrongdoing..........they just think they do because an "investigation" was opened. Which is why Republicans know that all they need to do is just OPEN an "investigation."

I like all the drama about Twitter not selling to Musk within hours of his out of nowhere hostile takeover attempt but also it's prudent for Musk to take his time and properly establish if this purchase is in his best interest.

These people have become some army of drone cucks constantly saying stupid shit in defense of right wing rhetoric and propaganda.

Absolutely.

The moment Musk was to give the "there are too many bots on twitter" excuse because HE's the one who fucked up the deal, Twinblade is absolutely CUCKING and parroting what Musk is saying.

He's trying to do a pump and dump to make several hundreds of millions of dollars.

He secretly has accumulated 9% ownership without notifying the SEC, which is already subject to an investigation.

Twitter doesn't need his money, when there are several or multiple investors who can easily match or exceed what Musk is "offering"

Hint: Elon Musk isn't really "offering" to spend $43 billion. The majority of his wealth are in stocks, he probably doesn't even have anything close to $43 billion in liquidity on his own.

But he's saying it so that the market value is "established" around $43 billion. All of a sudden the stocks he bought around $39/share shoot up to $51/share. Twitter rejects his bid, and he gets to say "oh well, then I'll leave", and he sells off a large chunk of his stocks at a nice profit margin.

That's called a pump and dump.

LOL! You're truly the dumbest person alive.

And I taught you what pump-and-dump is you twit.

No you didn't.

And that post was made before Twitter called his bluff and accepted the offer, so what I am describing what he was WANTING to do is not even wrong.

Holy shit, you're a butthurt buffoon who can't get anything right.

Musk, with his typical cuck-energy.........has now attempted to inform Twitter that he's backing out of the deal.

And he did it at 5pm on a Friday like a complete limp-dick coward.

That's a lawsuit showing up on his desk first thing monday morning. They're going to sue him that he is obligated to go through the deal.

Lol no. Twitter mislead him with their bot numbers. Paying $44 billion when a bunch of the site's users aren't even real people would be a ripoff.

No, they didn't mislead at all.

You are even parroting the Elon cuck fanboys' talking point.

For starters, Elon specifically said that he was buying Twitter to FIX the bot problem.

And secondly, he and his lawyers are not claiming that Twitter lied.

Look at their language.

They are saying that Twitter gave them all of this information........and they are unable to verify anything through the data.

So, they opened up the firehose of information, and Elon can't sift through the data to determine what is a bot and what isn't.

That's HIS fucking problem.

That's not twitters.  And once again, I will point out...........he specifically bypassed Due Diligence when he made his offer and they wrote up the details of the contract.

Twitter gave Elon Musk the same information about bots that it has given financial agencies, investors, and banks.

Elon Musk has to prove that data to be false........and the entire basis of his pullout is that he CAN'T VERIFY data.

He's not in a winning position.

Do they really feel so threatened by the fact that he might unban Trump and other conservatives to restore a degree of dignity and fairness to the platform? Its sad the lengths they'll go to inhibit free speech.

This is a hilarious contortion of logic. The offer is accepted, Twitter belongs to Elon Musk. End of story

What were you clowns saying? :sabu:

It's July and Musk wants to pull out of the deal.... If he already owns it as you clowns said how he did all the way in April when he simply made an offer... Seems like he did not actually own it as yet even up to this day?  :umad:

Twitter feels so threatened by the fact that he might unban Trump and other conservatives that Twitter is now suing Musk to COMPLETE THE PURCHASE of Twitter that he is trying to pull out of.... Who's the one running scared now? :sabu:

This might turn out to be one of the biggest self owns in over a century.. To the tune of over 44 billion... Lmfao Musk lmfao :umad:

I was saying how butthurt you must be :tom:

He's still obligated to purchase the company.  The point of the my posts was that Twitter accepted the deal and it was as good as done as far as they were concerned.  Jerky acted like Musk coming up with the money was what was going to be the issue potentially preventing it.... but it wasn't.  Musk backing out like a bitch at the last minute was his own choice.
