This is about the steam shit.  Also the Switch version in that video has modern lighting and the pc original doesn't.  Your post is stupid.  You can't defend the 540p steam shit.

Aside from the lighting everything is worse on the Switch. You can see the grass and foilage in the original, on Switch it's all just a green blur. As are all the other textures in the game. The roofs on the buildings, the roads in front of you. The draw distance has massively been scaled back and they even had to downgrade the fucking rocks on the Switch port :tom: It looks like someone smeared Vaseline all over the screen. That's a 2007 game. Switch is not "running Crysis" in the way people think of running Crysis.

 

I cant comment on DF foundry as it was a bitch to get the video to work and I'm not on desktop now so cant view it again but didnt he turn raytracing on? There are videos of other people running Crysis remastered on steam deck and it appears to perform much better than what he had.

 

Edit: Crysis runs at 540p on Switch too you stupid fuck :kaz:

Yes this is a stupid thread as im sure the steam deck can run Crysis better than Switch because the deck will be running the PC version at medium or something so.

 

With that said Few things -

 

1) The Switch version was later patched to include Parallax occlusion mapping on materials, so no the rocks weren't downgraded. 

 

2) The game was also patched to be 720p on portable and 900p docked. 

 

3) Even in its pre-patched state the Switch version was the best console version of Crysis until the next gen versions (PS5/XB series) came out.

 

 According to DF It was better on Switch than PS3, 360, PS4 and Xbox1. As the PS3 and 360 ran like a sideshow, sub HD on a TV, with terrible lighting and ancient AA. The port was also fucked up on PS4 and Xbox1 systems as the developer dropped the ball with the crisis 1 port.   So switch was running crysis better than any console that came before it :umad:

 

 

And obviously the deck, PS5 and Xbox Series now all run it better, but before that Switch ironically was the best console version.
