On International Women's Day there was a gathering in Union Square where they had speakers and demos and such celebrating women obviously. It was more worldwide representation of different cultures and female trailblazers or whatever and at some point a few guys with Trump shirts showed up and people could see them walking up to the front of the crowd where a make shit platform was placed for speakers. Some of us kind of worked as interference and they pulled out this retractable TRUMP 2020 banner and began complaining and yelling "TRUMP TRUMP TRUMP" and it's like dude, this isn't a political rally. There was no talk about any elections, dems, or republicans. It was simply a showcase for female performers and artist. 

 

It devolved into a verbal fracas until the cops showed up and it's like WTF was their point? MAGA is against women? The right has just become a catch all for anything self obsessed asshole who hates anything that doesn't pay homage to conservative white men or something.
