 They reach high scores, and encompass a majority of high scoring games. You added the GOTY qualifier to suggest it's "not saying much" to have the best version of almost all of them.

Not being  GOTY = "not saying much" is the subjective part.  For example, I would rather have 100 more high scoring games than having a few more exclusives in my 100 less high scoring  games list.
