Doesn't even have to be close to full capacity. Any month where Sony has anything even remotely decently available it has the highest selling system. Even with these insane stock issues and MS having a budget console that is infinitely in stock the PS5 still has sold more than the Xbox Series lol

Who said anything about that?  They're obviously producing them at full capacity already.....

 

Sony sells the highest in specific areas... when they divert stock to those areas.  They did it in Japan before where even fucking Xbox was outselling them or very close to them for a bit... then they got 1 shipment in for one month at it sold well.  That's what's happening in Europe right now too.  Now it's Europe's turn to get a bump...  then it will be NA..

 

They have fuck all for stock right now and it's seriously hampering them.  So when is that going to change?

 Fact of the matter is ShitBox gets raped in sales anytime PS5s are in stock. At no point in this gen or last gen has Xbox  ever been more popular in any region. Playstation is simply way more popular and the only chance Shitbox has to outsell it is when it's no longer in stock.

Again though, even with all those issues what were the comparative HW sales for PS5 to Xbox Series last FY. PS5 still outsold it, has still sold more overall and when capacity increases has far more demand in all markets. This is literally a case of Sony being limited in every capacity and still all that means is Xbox can stay equal for a time period. 

 

In regards to when that is changing, who knows. But they're revised forecast for this coming FY is now 18m (down from their previous forecast but much higher than the actual 12m they did this year), so they are expecting an improvement. When was the last time an Xbox console sold 18m in a FY?
