It was the last week of school. They had two more days left. So for example, if we say something like "mandatory background checks for all purchase, including private purchases, that must be notified to the state that the gun is being sold and to whom its being sold to." They will automatically start talking about illegally obtained guns. And when they do that, they are trying to basically trying to dissuade people by saying there's TOO MANY THINGS we would to do, and hope that we'll just be lazy and not bother. I don't mind those 2nd Amendment gun nuts throwing out dozens of loopholes, in fact I appreciate it. America is not ONE STEP behind the gun issue. America is like 143 STEPS behind the gun issue. There's alot of things that need to change. We need laws, and we need to devote manpower towards trying to identify black markets to go after them, and we need universal healthcare to do our best to approach the mental health aspect of this. We probably need to assess a huge tax on guns and ammunition if you haven't passed a weapons training and safety class and fulfill x amount of hours of continuing education every 1-2 years.
