Fortunately, my new MacBook max comes in late July. I will definitely get that game! Thanks for the heads up!

@Remij have you heard about steamlink’s quality on Mac?

Not specifically, but it depends on your wifi more than anything.  I can't imagine it would be any different than on any other devices.  The Macbook's wireless should have no problem with it.

I've used it between my PC and on the Steam Deck just around the house here and it's been great...  But I guess I can only speak for myself.

I played the Metal: Hellsinger demo. It's 70% Doom 2016, 30% Guitar Hero. The rhythmic strategy is pretty fun, and the visuals are really nice, I'm surprised it is Unity engine.

Not sure if there's multiplayer, but you could have coop with different players timing their shots to different instruments.

Runs ok on Deck, I had an issue with suspend/resume tho.

I mainly want it for the more obscure, not-so-demanding games. Even though the laptop is meant for video editing, it does have a little over 7tf of power. But Mac games (other than indie titles) are overpriced af lol.

You mean from the app store?

Steam's prices should be the same.  You just install Steam, and you can download Paper Trail for Mac from there.

See, it supports both Windows and MacOS through Steam B)

Damn, that would run on my 2010 Mac. Yeah, I’ll DL steam. I was basing prices off of Mac’s store which is insane lol.

Yep.  Steam on MacOS has quite a few games.. and probably a lot of these indie puzzle games that you like will end up supporting MacOS, so maybe the odd time that a game doesn't come to a console you might be able to grab it there B)

Here's the link to the MacOS Steam store:

Shit I actually don't think Cat Lady has a Mac version :(  You would have to install Windows on a different partition in a dual boot type of config.

There's a Mac version of Cognition though. This is another one of my favorite PC adventure games. You have get used to the art style as its definitely not much of a looker, but the puzzles, investigation mechanics, and underlying storyline are all pretty awesome.

I can use steamlink. Apparently, it runs quite well.

That looks cool.  I liked Lorelai but it was definitely not on the level of The Cat Lady, so maybe this will be more impressive.

Yeah I think Cat lady was lightning in a bottle because I didn't think Downfall was as good (I actually preferred the original). The guy sure knows how to write an interesting game though. Definitely all still worth owning.
