Starfield only has 4 major cities, main quest 30/40 hours long and you can’t land on planets seamlessly (TLHBFR!)

This is looking more and more like CP2077 and Fallout 76 type of game. A lot more hype than actual content. Modders are going to have to save this game because right now it’s looking mediocre the more Bathesda reveals more info.

yeah the "you can land anywhere on a planet to explore" is just going to generate a randomally generated map of nothing but random enemies and random loot drops.

you can tell that Todd Howard cut the original design spec, and whittled it down to just:

 

-fallout minimaps

-Elder Scrolls type cities

-randomized wasteland maps

-The New Feature: basic Star Wars space shooting levels that probably aren't more complex than Rogue Squadron

 

I can see The Outer Worlds 2 exceeding every single thing that Starfield is advertising.
