MGS2 PC 3rd person camera (Subsistence style) mod

Holy shit this looks perfect  

 

I've been wanting to do a replay of the first 3 games before the 1-3 Remaster comes, which is apparently in the works for all modern platforms.  This will be awesome to try out.  Of course the game is designed specifically around the limited camera and controls of the original, but I don't give a shit.  For a casual replay, this will be awesome.

You can literally just toggle it with a button.

Nope, Twin Snakes has the same camera as always.  Hell even MGS3 had this style of camera, until the Subsistence version, which is essentially what this mod is doing for MGS2 now.

 

I think you're thinking of the first person camera that was added to Twin Snakes, from MSG2.  That essentially made the game too easy as it was never designed and balanced for that.

 

This mod will likely also make MGS2 much easier... but it'll likely make it much nicer to play casually.. since it's far more modern.

Some games desperately need for a modern toggle mode like RE4.

Looking at those vids, you´d wonder how come MGS2 was not playable like that, but holy shit at that OG camera.
