Calisto Protocol has been getting a fair amount of hype. How have you not heard of it before

Just bought Potion Permit today and played it for a couple hours. Got some issues with it but overall I'm enjoying it so far.

 

Moonscars is a potential buy. It kinda reminds me of Blasphemous which I enjoyed so if it turns out to be good then I'll grab it.

 

Asterigos comes out next month and I might grab that. I'm getting strong Kena vibes from the game. I thought Kena was a pleasant surprise so I'm hopeful Asterigos surprises me too.

 

Gungrave GORE is also dropping soon. I'm hoping it's just a crazier version of Gungrave Overdose but I'm also skeptical because the game isn't made by the original devs. Very much a wait and see 

 

Chained Echoes drops in December. SNES JRPG style game. Been on my radar for a couple years and is finally releasing.

 

Theres some other stuff that I'm keeping my eye on but most of them got pushed back to 2023.

Fuck yea.  I can't believe it.  After Dead Space was seemingly all but done for and left for dead.... not only did we get a brand new Dead Space inspired game by the original creator "The Calisto Protocol"... but we're also actually getting a fucking remake of the original Dead Space!

 

Crazy.

 

It's the same thing with Suikoden..  Seemingly nothing but a distant memory... and then suddenly we get the Suikoden inspired "Eiyuden Chronicle: Hundred Heroes" by the original creators... and now we're also getting fucking remasters of Suikoden 1 and 2!

 

Shit is wild man.  I'm so damn happy about that.  I don't think I would count anything out anymore these days.  Anything is possible.

You're not wrong but I'll take budget junk Octopath Traveller 2 and budget junk Tactics Ogre remaster over expansive junk Forspoken and expansive junk FF7  remake part 2/5.
