Steam Deck - The thread

I finally started messing around with Windows on the Deck and it's OK. The key thing is you can install Windows to a MicroSD, leaving SteamOS on the SSD. This is a decent alternative to dual booting for now. I did this mainly to check out Warzone 2 (which works well), Lost Ark and Destiny 2 (still downloading).

If you add "-gamepadui" to the Steam shortcut, it'll launch with the new UI so you aren't totally stuck navigating Windows with a gamepad. In general it does suck compared to SteamOS, but it's not terrible to access some of these busted anticheat games. I kind of forgot it was an option tbh, so now I feel like I've unlocked a bit more power out of the system.

Windows 10 is the worst OS ever made. I'd rather download the wannacry virus, my os would be just as useful.
