The larger open world with cars really hurts the experience but when you're wrecking zombies or fighting bosses with the silly combo weapons, it's decent fun. It's probably better than DR4. I never played Sunset Overdrive. Looks okay, I saw it on sale for like 4$ many times, came close to buying it but haven't do so yet.
