Twinblade★ 3,898
This thing looks pretty dope. If I were getting a new VR headset and money wasn't an issue I would likely opt for this one
Mr. House 3,371
You can actually remove the batteries? Very good. And this is what I want headsets to evolve into, more ergonomics, goggles like. Not, huge bulky headsets. The Meta quest 2 with the default regular straps is the most uncomfortable thing ever.
sugarhigh 519
A big design advancement. Impressive stuff from HTC.

Yeah the whole thing is very small and only weighs half a pound if you use it in conjunction with your PC (with the battery removed). Good stuff.

Good stuff. Ridiculous price point. Make the same headset but PC only, so we don't have to pay for the shit GPU/CPU and batteries.

jehurey 3,230
HTC is a very odd company. They usually are the first the market, but then they go quiet for a long time. The only time I ever actually saw HTC Vive hardware was in the Dreamscape VR screenings that they have at the mall. And early adopters who buy all sorts of stuff that Steam advertises. Those people went ahead and bought the Valve Index when Steam told them to, and since they're probably bored with nothing to do, they'll buy this expensive hardware as well. But if you think about it its only $100 more than the Index so It seems like a bargain in comparison even at that price.
