I actually used to watch Critical Drinker, Midnight, and ODVD until they became obsessed with woke culture or if we're being honest the social blade engagement of woke bashing in genre tubers. I stopped watching when it got the point where he would basically complain if any people of color are on screen and began counting how many people of a certain race is in a show/movie, and referring to every non-white male actor as a "diversity hire".  As if any person hired in a show/movie are there for woke diversity. 

 

Just about all of his content is aimed at disgruntled incels and bigots these days.

I watched that new willow series on Disney. They put lesbian romance between a ginger black girl (who is a Knight... lol) and some other boring girl (both completely useless to the story) in the first 5 minutes. Literally the first thing they do is shove some agenda down our throats. This is not the Willow I remember.  It was a fun light hearted fantasy adventure. Now its some stupid woke teen drama

The TLOU show opens with a character essentially claiming that the fungus virus can evolve to infect humans because of global warming.....even though there was nothing in the games that alluded to that. It really is sad how all these writers nowadays can't help but take the original source material for these properties and inject their woke beliefs into it.

Both scientists were giving there theories of what could possibly happen in the future. One mentioned global warming the other did not...

The critics who point out the obvious political propaganda in movies and TV shows or Hollywood creating content that is more concerned with ''THE MESSAGE'' than good writing, creativity or even being profitable by appealing to fans of an existing IP. (case in point, Velma)

 

In no way is critical drinker judging every people of color in a movie as a diversity hire. In no way criticizing absolute TRASH like Ring of Power makes anyone a bigot or an incel.

I loved Willow when I was a kid.  But then again, I loved everything Medieval like. Robin Hood, Conan, Excalibur, Braveheart. Fuck yeah.

 

I don't know much about the new one other than it's supposed to be absolute trash. Another attempt at IP revival absolutely fails, big surprise. 

 

No one is going to talk about these woke trash in 10-20 years from now. At least not in a nostalgic tone, just contempt and textbook examples of how not to remake intellectual properties.

The Xmen have always been woke. Godzilla has always been woke. Star Trek has always been woke. Retards complaining about moral lessons  in fiction show just how unaware they generally are until some grifter idiot tells them to feel a certain way. I read an interesting oped about how douche bros claim to love things without understanding them or for superficial reasons. I think at this point your honesty and credibility is dirt. You obviously give dishonest answers to things you dont know what you're talking about so you just make stuff up to appear to have a point. I watch whatever because I hate to break it to you, being woke doesn't automatically make something good or bad. Most movies are bad, most songs are bad, most shows are bad. It's always been this way.
