i can see how retards and low information plebs like you are in to this. I feel like this argument keeps coming up from the same people every generation and the same people never learn. It's been over 20 years since I've been in high school. The big concern then was teaching comprehensive sex ed was the villain of those days. The drama was conservatives telling everyone that kids will be having babies by sophomore year, schools that were implementing in-house daycare for teen moms was also supposedly going to encourage teens to have children. Basically the teens will be on wild fucking sprees because they learned updated health ed curriculums like condoms and such. Needless to say, the pure states had all of their worries exploding while states with more intensive sex ed courses saw drops in teen pregnancies and STDs. 

 

The average age a kid sees porn now is like 10 or 11. This number will never go up, it'll most likely get younger as parents are sticking smart screens into their kids' hands as soon as they can walk. So like over 20 years ago where sex ed was updated to reflect and adjust to generational shifts. It's seen as practical to address sex ed maybe closer to this age rather than kids learning about sex from porn and the internet for 3 or 4 years before learning it from a professional teacher. I'm all for parents having the right to sign a kid out of a sex ed course, but as a general thing there is actually a great deal of thought that does get put into it.
