Dead Space is an established IP and even with the additions its clear that the remake did not have a sizeable budget. There's no doubt its a safer bet than a Titanfall SP game.

Pretty sure Respawn already has engine and assets and alot of things to make another Titanfall single player on a streamlined budget.

 

Dead Space didn't even beat Callisto Protocol in initial sales in some countries.

 

Titanfall 2 actually achieved something close to being an "evergreen" title, because of word of mouth.
