The article gives no actual examples of the "scientific community" making any specific decisions that "led to deaths."

 

So, if you know them...........point them out.

It was a learning curve. Nothing like this happened before and the scientific community had to make a plan of action as it was happening, there was no test lab or beta site.

That's all fine and good. But to shutdown all dissenting views which many ended up be right was not a scientific thing to do. That was political and it became a team sport.
