That 1080p screen at 7 inches makes this rumor a fake.    That's a waste of extra resources for no tangible benefit at that screen size.      The Switch 2 specs from a SOC standpoint al

It's going to be a hybrid console and I can guarantee you that the image quality will be better than the PS4 pro.  It's going to have a more modern SOC and at least 10gigs of ram.  I don't think it wi

I assume it will be another hybrid console. I just don't think it'll be anywhere near the performance sheep are imagining. We go through this every fucking time. Also we know what a PS4 handheld looks

Few things... Switch 1 is already more powerful than PS3/ 360.  Expecting Switch 2 to be within that same ballpark is silly.

The Switch 2 SOC was already spelled out and leaked when Nvidia got hacked.

It is a major leap above Switch 1.

Obviously not PS5 level because it's a portable, but it will be much more capable than Switch 1.

There's not one Switch exclusive that matches the performance requirements of Infamous 2.

The most graphically challenging game of that gen was Crysis 1 - 3...those games ran like total garbage on PS3 and 360 because the systems could not meet the system requirements.

The Switch versions runs laps around those versions with ease.

Not only that while the Switch was not as powerful as PS4 or Xbox1, there are tons of current gen games for PS4 gen that Switch ran quite well, games that wouldn't even run on PS3 and 360 because those systems wouldn't meet the requirements.... Let's not forget that PS3/360 only had 256 MB and 512mb of ram respectively.... The Switch has 16x and 8x amount of ram compared to those systems:umad:

Dying Light PS3, 360 cancelled, ‘just couldn’t run the game

“After thorough internal testing, we have come to the conclusion that we have no choice but to leave past-gen systems behind and release Dying Light exclusively on the next-gen consoles and PC,” the company said on Facebook. “Put simply, older consoles just couldn’t run the game"

"For instance, up to 200,000 objects can be displayed in the game at once. Add to this our use of realistic, physics-based lighting technology and you really start to push the next-gen systems. Features like these along with our core gameplay pillars — such as the player-empowering Natural Movement, threefold character development system, and vast open world — are all an inherent part of how Dying Light plays. However, combining all of these into one fluid experience is only possible on technologically advanced platforms."

And yet the Switch Ran dying light quite well, while the game itself was too much for PS3 and 360.

Switch is clearly more capable than the PS360. The increase of ram from 512 to 4 gigs alone puts it in a league of it's own.

Yes it benefits from 10 years of hardware design, it has a shader architecture far more modern than PS3. Nevertheless, Nintendo doesn't design games that outpace the requirements of PS3.

To be fair it couldn't do much for Wii U ports other than increase the resolution by sometimes what is a trivial amount. It's still an okay step up from the PS360/Wii U gen.
