Can't use pronouns or offer lunches but you can hit a kid if you need to. 

 

So the ideal school system for these people. 

 

Metal Detectors, gates everywhere, armed teachers who can also beat the kids if necessary, prayers/Bible instruction, and "patriotic" curriculum, banning of liberal ideas. 

 

What does that actually sound like? Does that sound like a school in the freest country in the world, or some Christo-dystopia?

meh... I grew up in a catholic grammar school where spanking students was allowed. I never got hit, I was a good boy. And some kids who did, told their parents who then complained to the principal that they will stop paying the school if their kid gets spanked again and the teacher did actually stop.

 

Detention, suspension and expulsion are great enough though. We don't need to smack kids into obedience, that only teaches them that violence is the answer when trying to "correct" someone. My school is an example of this, plenty of kids would mimic spanking as a joke, and a form of bullying.
