Sony had a web presentation today probably to get out all the business news out of the way before the showcase tomorrow. I thought I'd post the highlights here for those that missed the news.

 

Looks like Sony is at 48 million PS+ subs with 14.1 million out of them being PS Plus Premium and Extra subs. A bit surprising to see the PS+ Premium subscriber count is higher than Extra. Extra to me is way more value for money.

 

They also plan to surpass PS4 sales launched aligned by Fall this year and they are expecting to own 50% of the console marketshare soon.

10 months ago, it hasn't been a year yet and it's already catching up to SHITPASS .

The PS subscription doesn't surprise me. Sony made billions off the subscription alone last gen.
