Are you playing Diablo IV this week?

I had fun during the beta, so already bought the ultimate edition. Ran very well on my PC, 4k 120fps ultra. I just hope it's not a bait and switch and ends up sucking in late game.

I'd play it if it was on steam. I didn't even play D3 so I don't care much.

I saw D2 remastered for the first time the other day and I really want to play that one, actually. I might buy it on PS5. Lmfao, probably plays like shit but whatever.

Nah, I have never cared for these games.

Diablo 1 was my first online game ever, I think it was in 1997. Shit was mind blowing.

I love the dark themes of D1 and D2. Think Dark Souls but even more violent. Atmosphere and music were excellent, very dark tone.

I doubt you'd like them though, they're grindy and it's all about the loot. At the times it was extremely innovative though. First game as far as I know that had randomly generated dungeons and loot. Among tons of other ideas that became staples in so many other games. The contribution of Diablo for video games is huge, imo.

These days I think it's just a repetitive grind though. Haha.

Yeah, that’s why I couldn’t get into them. A bunch of friends have tried to get me to keep playing, though lol.

I was going to pre order but I’m still on Zelda. So I’ll just get it on regular release. What does pre ordering get? Is it better to pre order if I’m getting the battle pass (ie is it free with pre order)

Yeah you can add battle net as a nonsteam game and it runs.

You can add Battlenet as a non-Steam game and it will open up the launcher, but you can't add games from within Battlenet to Steam separately, because when you try to launch them it wont connect.  You litearally have to run them from the launcher itself.  Assholes lol.

Edit: Oh I see, you're talking about Steam Deck.  Still, the same limitation exists there.. but yea.
