You can't play an evil character in this game tho, no matter how many people I kill I will always be good due to quests and killing ghouls/fiends. I almost kill everyone but I still have to hack computers or steal shit I even murdered everyone in goodsprings. Doc mitchel patches me up, then I shoot his head off 5 minutes later. thanks doc. I have Veronica and Rex as companion. Soo good. Never played the DLCs so I'm excited for that. I went with Veronica and E-de - the bot at the Mohave Express in Primm; melee and laser ranged. I know they got shit reviews by the mainstream idiotic reviewers but trust me on this, they have some of the most memorable moments in the game and there's an overarching plot that takes place across all DLCs. Sierra Madre casino and Big Mountain being the highlights.

Don't care about reviews but they get a lot of praise on the net. iirc I did them in that order, Honest Hearts (partially but eventually went back, easily the weakest DLC but still neat)-> Dead Money (amazing)-> Old World Blues (hilarious and memorable) -> Lonesome Road (kinda disappointed in the twist reveal but it's still amazing, the main game hints at this, it's basically the real ending to the game) But you want to be high level anyway, I did them before starting some of the final quests that starts the fight for hoover dam. It felt appropriate story wise too as Lonesome Road eventually gives new possible endings to the main story. New Vegas is so well written that the DLC also ties in with more story elements from the main game, suggesting they were all written in advance. For example the Dead Money also ties in with your companion Veronica's father storyline. By the way you can't leave that DLC until it's done and you won't have your gears, make sure you are strong enough. New Vegas
Mr. House 3,371
And real men plays New Vegas in survival mode. Adds more depth to the gameplay, especially ammo having weight. Granted I played through the game the first time in normal mode and normal difficulty but subsequent playthrough I always played on survival. God, I loved my time with New Vegas so much, I wish I could go back in time to relive my journey through New Vegas. Carving your legacy in that game is easily one of the most satisfying narrative you'll find in a RPG, at least for me. The lore, the choices you make, the characters you meet, the sidequests, the writing, the main story. Everything is top quality. I never played Fallout 1/2 but from what I've seen and read about them they seem equally amazing from a narrative, quests, lore standpoint. I really hope they remake those games some day, as long as they stay faithful.

Alphonse★ 453
I always do the first playthrough on medium on any game. Second playthrough on the hardest difficulty. But these days I barely have time for a single playthrough

They are different games but once you get the hang of it you won't stop playing. Fallout 2 ----> Fallout/Fallout NV. I know you will like the turn-based combat. kaz 2,439
I started playing Divinity: Original Sin. I'm still in the first town but this game is fucking amazing The only gripe so far is the weird AI personality you can choose. I gave my characters the "maniac" and "free spirit" AI personality and they are constantly arguing. I probably played more rock-scissor-paper than doing anything else Edited November 2, 2018 by kaz
kokujin 558
yaks ctscenes are very dope. if rockstar and (what company makes this?) combined, they could make the best open world game ever. But that would probably destroy any leg they have on each other and would be suicide.
Teh_Diplomat 2,054
DL'ing Fallout New California - Completely new mod with maps, locations, dialogue & characters (measures a whopping 6.6GB's from ModDB ) that has been in development for over six years! - I only heard about it last week, hence jumping into Fallout Vegas to get a better understanding of the plot (it's been at least 4-5 years since I played it) It's essentially a prequel to New Vegas Goodbye weekend!
