Finished 13 sentinels. I dug the main ending, but I liked the character arcs more. The music in the final fight

Playing Tyranny on PC (Obsidian RPG), way more enjoyable than Pillars of Eternity and Planescape Torment Tide of Numenera so far.

[HIDE]getting further in cyberpunk. I feel like playing all day but I got shit to take care of... tempted..

 

anywho, happhazzared story's starting to come together. It comes at you from all sides, with like 2-4 relevant quests happening at once. I kinda wonder who the fuck these characters were before, and why they know each other so well. Kinda weird V meets all these people and he/she is trusting them with his life so soon.  

 

I did a sidequest and an NPC who was supposed to live and later give me his number, just self destructed instead.  apparently that kills that branch of quests too.

 

 

I really don't get the point of stat checks to steal better cars. I thought it was a really cool idea, but.. so far, all the cars handle the same (like they're ice skating).  I saw a 20 stat check for a fancy smancy car, at one point in the game, and the car's gone the next morning (so cool, maybe you have to really want it, and take it then).  But,... it's not a car purchase. And as soon as I leave/ditch the car it's gone (not far enough to know if there are garage/ways to save). So like... what's the point?? a 20 stat check btw. I've went oveerboard and already at 8.

 

'I like that you can "buy" cars and summon them to you. I like the prices so far actually seem a heap.  I'm not buying shit till later tho lol.  

 

 

I remember I pointed out the cars drive and handle funny months before the game came out, on a preview vid, and jehurey ate his lung out yelling at me about it.  y'all niggas just jealous I notice shit?? like, seriously, this is the most negative place on earth.  Soon as someone else is happy, y'all down their throat. 

 

I do like the 1st person, I do like that scattered collage of shit everywhere. the loot system so far is actually cool and interesting./well paced. I haven't crafted shit yet. 

 

 

"immobilizing' random NPDC assaults is getting kinda wack. I really wanna do these in a more creative stealth/set up booby traps way. I'll fuck with the abilities more when I have room to spend.  Right now just grenades, optical debuffs, distractions etc. I wish you could stealth kill these randos, but you're not "in a dungeon" so therefore the option to do so doesn't popup. I'm sure there's an ability instead that I can use. when I creep up behind enemies outside of mainline quest obvious dungeons, no prommpts to choke/etc. i'm guessing they have to be white silhouette distracted with something? That single page prompt that explains all that is already gone.[/HIDE]

 

 

*just decided to find and purge the database. It's probably in there. gotta read again. Also bios of past characters. I usually skip this stuff, but I'll probably read more of the lore in this game. the random chips with articles and shit feel a little foreign/discombobulated, because I have no idea who the fuck's writing them. And they just kinda chain themselves into more subquests when you pick up the right random chip.  

 

 

yep enemies with the skull thing can't be grappled. skull signifies they're a little tougher. gotta figure out some take downs.

Jehury did the double jump. I do like games you can break, and I do wanna fuck with this game. I complain a lot, but I talk a lot about stuff I like. It's cool so far. I also figured out the reason cops keep rolling on me is because I am technically rolling out a weapon lol. Does meleee knails count tho??

I'm abouit.. 8-9 hrs in. I just did the first guy assassination mission where you roll up to his bar. Have ot ake him out. pull him out or not?   

 

 

his body disapparead too btw. and it wasn't supposed to lol. but I was already pulling him out.  I like the placating of things in the game.n It will reappear. But it's pretty.  ?

i played some Control. i wasn't in the mood for it, though. However, i loved the physics. incredible!

 

i went back to gears 5 and i'm really digging it. also, the series x update is pretty amazing. some of the textures and lighting are delicious af! while i don't care for that ski mobile thing, i do like the atmospheric settings. i think coalition has a bright future ahead of them.

Downloaded Control this morning but haven't got to touch it yet. Lately I've been playing Ghost of Tsushima online. Was weird at first but it's definitely a fun way to keep playing once you get the hang of it. There aren't a ton of maps and it's impossible to just jump in for a quick match so it's not for everyone but it's a nice way to continue the game after beating it.

Word. I played the shit out of the online mode, i just wish they would expand on it more with an expansion or something because what's there is fantastic but there isn't much more than what feels like a bite sized version of a multiplayer mode.

Yeah, with a complementary team the game is really a blast. Was playing last night and all but one of us was down and we're about to lose and the Ronin was finally able to channel his special power and resurrect all of us. It was like some Capt America, Endgame shit.

Cyber Shadow is awesome but fucking hard. 

Destruction All Stars is pretty much what I expected.

Been playing a bunch of Spiritfarer too. Really awesome indie game with a lot of charm and a addictive gameplay loop.

Also some Habroxia 2

I’ve been interested in spiritfarer for the longest time. Any other types of games you’d compare it to?

So I'm still hooked on Ghost of Tsushima Legends. I've moved up to the more advanced match types. I love this game but the online matches can take up to an hour. Granted nearly everyone sticks around so it's not an issue but it's a fucking commitment. The other problem is the Raid missions. Again, great and it's got puzzles and platforms and forces teamwork but this is PSN. 

Like no one has a mic and this shit is super complex. After barely making it through my first raid mission I watched a video on how to do the second so I wasn't as much burden on my team as the first  time around and it's like  I would have an easier time learning how to install solar panels than this mission. I dont even know how people know how to do this stuff.
