It's already doing all the worst things of old JRPGs with it's early pacing and story, however the gameplay is excellent so far. I like the comic book parts but when you are on a level break it dragggs. Especially with the bonding episodes. Its the weakest part of the game if you arent interested in the story. Gameplay carries it through it tho. I didnt beat it yet. Im only on chapter 8. I have 15 hours in i hear its around 30. It took me about 10 hours to complete, yet I feel like I got the substance of a 15-20 hour title. There’s 0 bloat. The pacing is some of the best I’ve seen, starting off rather chill, but ending with some intense combat and puzzle-platforming. 9/10 2 Quote Link to post Share on other sites
