That's very surprising considering NioH is fairly well regarded and multiplat -
Too bad it didn't outscore Nioh

Free ray tracing - turn the brightness down -
This explains why AMD said they were down. ShitBox is doing so badly that it's affecting even AMD since they used chips to make ShitBox consoles that aren't selling 525K is a solid number for March, PS5 is down but not by much. The only console that is in free fall is Xbox and its tanking AMD. It's doing so badly that it's selling worse than the XB1 was doing at this point in its lifetime. We already know it's completely dead in Europe and US is the only place where people still buy this piece of shit and it's still flopping hard here

it has a nvidia chip, which automatically makes it better at RT (SD and ALLY are AMD). i wouldn't be surprised if its raw numbers are comparable to SD.

Digital Foundry - Steam Deck Ray Tracing vs ROG Ally

What if Switch 2 ends up not doing any of that? -
which i'm definitely fine with. i love the battery life with SD OLED. I'm hoping switch 2 is better, in that sense.

As are mine Like I say.. Nintendo will be more concerned about cost and battery life than anything.
-
the switch 2 will definitely have an edge with RT. though, my expectations for its raw power is pretty conservative.
-
Pretty cool video. Obviously the ROG Ally will perform better when utilizing higher wattage modes.. not to mention the fact that RDNA3 RT is improved over RDNA2, but it's cool to see RT workloads running at all on these devices at all. The newest games are obviously out of the question though. This is one area where the Switch 2 should have a massive advantage over these current devices.

Things like this are why it's a shame the VR mode is not available on PC. -
Gotta catch em all. Nice collectothon. No biggie. Abrams tanks are just a little bit over 10 million US dollars in cost to produce one tank.
-
@Twinblade But David why do you hate Ukrainians so? -Neoconblade, war enabler. It's a good thing the US spent another 66 billion abroad just as the Ukrainian front is slowly collapsing. This is why you guys don't have free healthcare and never will.

Why make a thread about Hellblade 2 back in 2019?
-
Yup. I was hoping for something Way of the Samurai like, got AC garbage instead. What a disappointment...

I'm excited for it Can't wait to see the new Gears game

The character doesn't actually evolve much. There's a bunch of skill trees but most of those upgrades are superfluous, and the ones you'll unlock and use the most you can get within the first 10 hours or so. The RPG elements come into play mostly with the resources you can collect, and how they're used to craft new costumes or obtain a few upgrades for stuff like your estus flask equivalent. There's also some open areas you can explore to complete quests that you pick up while in the game's main HUB area. Oddly enough, one part of the gameplay loop I enjoy more than I thought I wou
