  3. I feel ya. Sometime it hit you in the face suddenly, ''geez I'm that old guy now?''. Lmao, like an instant life realization, ''shit, I'm that old''.

  4. the truth. there are parts that suck (tendonitis lol). however, i have learned a lot from the good times...and especially the bad ones. while i would do anything to undo the tragedies i've endured, they've made me stronger and better prioritize what i want out of life.

  8. Now I'm older I can't listen to anything where the lyrics are just ridiculous or just completely un-relatable to me. I mean, I'm not actually saying by contrast that I have to 'relate' to the song either but to give an example, I can't listen to too much rap or hip hop now like I used to in my early twenties. If it's talking about smacking hoes and selling weed....what the fuck do I have in common with that as a white man in early/mid 30s working a white collar corporate job. Another example, Slayer, angel of death. Love the guitar in it so much but the lyrics are all ab

  10. Oh don't get me wrong, me too. I'm not saying I'd want to go back or anything.. but when you hit those milestones it just reminds you that you're getting old. I still feel young, think young.. I look pretty good for my age too I'd argue, but some days you feel old lol I've never cared what people think of me. I've always got on good with most people though.. always had a small core group of close friends. Nothing else matters really to me.

  11. Hey, I think aging is quite a gift. We change, we get wiser, and weirder too I guess (at least for me) but usually better, like we got a few patches. I see everyone complaining but I wouldn't want to go back to being the guy I was in my 20s and I'll say the same for my 30s self when I'm in for 40s. Man I used to be such a dumbass. Still am but I learned a few important lessons making everything better. I remember I used to care so much about what people thought of me. Man, I don't even think about it anymore. I couldn't give two flying fuck about random peo

  12. I listen to many genres. But for metal specifically I definitely enjoy less and less the screaming vocals, I still like Meshuggah though. I prefer prog metal actually, with no singers. By far the sub genre I listen to the most. Just excellent highly technical musicians with good melodies. It can be chill. Or go hard and chill but no vocals.

  15. I talked to all the publishers, and they unanimously do not like Game Pass because it is value destructive Take-Two CEO Strauss Zelnick is one video game executive who remains unconvinced by Game Pass. Speaking during a financial call in November, Zelnick said of releasing big games day-and-date on a Microsoft's subscription service: "I still don't think it makes sense. And I believe that it's now becoming obvious that it doesn't make sense. It's just a lost opportunity for the publisher. So, I wouldn't want to speak for my friend, Phil [Spencer], but our views remain unchanged."

  16. For real. The only way physical could ever become the dominant form of game delivery again, would be if they actually develop a next-gen optical disc format that could store 500GB-1TB of data, and have a drive with multiple lasers that could read as a sufficiently quick enough speed to use the SSD as a cache essentially.. and games grew exponentially in storage requirements. I think for games to truly wanting to push next level visuals, limited storage capacity of current gen Blu-Ray is definitely an issue. An Ex-Naughty Dog developer even said as much. They're hittin

  17. Tbh this is a pretty normal completion rate for games anyway. Most people don't finish shit. Last couple areas to go on my playthrough, just gotta get through Haligtree, Mogh Palace and Shunning Grounds.
