Played some Halo Infinite for the first time last night. I skipped all the betas and earlier access stuff on purpose, have went in to this with my hype at basically maximum, especially the MP and I got to say after about a couple hours I am a mix of underwhelmed and disappointed. I'll still be going all in on this game and it will be what I mostly play but there is numerous issues with the game. Firstly, coming off of Forza, this game feels like an entire generation behind. Think my time with Forza is slowly coming to an end. Level 158(ish), won every race possible, all the events and about 98% of the Horizon Story stuff. Own 200+ cars. Not much left to do. Had an absolute blast. Probably the best arcade racer ever made.

Remember the cool grappling hook from all the trailers? Well, its relegated to being a map pickup that you have to find, and when you do you can only use it 5 times Even the few interesting ideas that the game does have get chucked to the back seat in favor of 343's attempt to make the most traditional iteration of Halo multiplayer possible. Bought Sherlock Holmes Chapter One and played through the first case. Pretty good so far, it doesn't hold your hold at all and I did get stuck at first but I then managed to deduce who the culprit was which was pretty satisfying.

I was referring to you saying "not needing to be patched" . Both the PS5 and Series X perform the same. The difference is the PS5 version has a locked resolution while the series X is dynamic resolution. Seems like series X needed a dynamic res to keep up with the PS5 performance wise

Racing is such a dull and rehashes category its lumped in with Sports Forza is in the running with annual rehashes and hot wheels, let that sink in.

holy shit, Forza Horizon 5 was clearly qualified for this year, but simply didn't get any major nominations. Whereas Ratchet & Clank was is every important graphics and performance cateogry.........its almost like they know its the best looking game of the year.
