Well i just finished GOW. Man, that was a rough one. The combat became a little more fun when you had to flip between fire and ice. They should not have made you wait like 8+ hours to get the 2nd weapon. He might not like it because unlike Elden Ring in Demon's Souls if you're stuck, you don't have many options to go elsewhere and come back way overpowered. IIRC Jon made Elden Ring easier for himself by over leveling. It's not as easy to do in DS.

The last action game i played was Elden Ring. So coming from something like that to GOW probably plays a part with my expectations not being met

Honestly the whole trajectory of Asobo and Plague Tale reminds me of CDPR with The Witcher. I feel like if they knock this one out of the park, it sets them up to have that "Witcher 3" type moment with their 3rd game.

It was more so the lack of real, epic boss fights that bothered me. If there was repeated filler bosses in addition to epic boss fights, sure that would have been less of an annoyance. But it was always those same fuckers. I hope GOWR cleans up some of the repetitive nature of this game. Cause really i think this game could have easily been a 10/10 if the annoying shit was done better.

Not only that but Death Stranding (the original version) was released on PC less than a year after the PS4 version came out. No one was desperate for it or anything. I wish I had never played it on PS4 actually and just waited for the best version.

I know I'm super late on this but Dune (2021) was really good. I usually hate every new movie coming out so I was pleasantly surprised by this. Also, I liked the Star Wars Kenobi TV series. It's not perfect but I enjoyed it quite a lot, almost as much as Mando season 1. I don't know what people are complaining about so much, anything that manages to make me want to re-watch the prequel trilogy to connect the story dots has to be really good somehow.
