  1. I agree with all of the posts above. I thought the hand-holding was initially there to guide new players, early on. I didn’t expect it throughout the whole game.

  4. Finished the game after 32 hours. I have so many mixed feelings on it....there's no doubt that its lavishly produced and filled with a lot of memorable moments from a storytelling perspective. But man, the general gameplay becomes such a slog, especially in the 2nd half when you've seen pretty much everything it has to offer from a combat and 'puzzle' standpoint (had to put puzzle in quotes because i'd hardly consider most of them to be actual puzzles). Most of the levels just seem to go on and on and throw the same repetitive enemy encounters at you, sometimes it feels there's no

  6. I don't know what's so funny about that, it's a great speed running feature. Devs just thought of the streaming potential

  8. I rarely deep fry anything at home, tbh. Deep fried chicken was out of my comfort zone. Usually, I make BBQ style chicken in the oven, not with a batter but with the typical flour, eggs, breadcrumbs/whatever powder used for flavoring. I usually cheat and slightly brush some vegetable oil on my chicken, it prevents the coating from burning and gives it a similar taste to deep fried. Or Chinese style honey and garlic marinade when I'm lazy as fuck and don't want to clean the mess that comes with coating chicken.

  9. It's baffling that people are still asking for Bloodborne on PC in 2022.

  10. Started to cook everything homemade as of late. Not only is everything cheaper, it's also healthier since I would never use as much sugar/salt/fat or put weird chemical agents in my food like the shit you find at the supermarket. This week I baked some cookies, made some pancakes, some pizza dough, deep fried chicken. Everything was homemade except for some pastas I used for a macaroni salad. I'm also thinking of starting to do my own soda, soft drink have replaced drinking beer for me but man, is that a lot of sugar. I could make healthier alternatives at home. Sprite

  11. Off the top of my head Revive is an obvious one, and Amount. Don't forget though that as you progress you'll unlock new characters which you also have to pay for. Depending on the weapons they have, and your preferred style of play, you may want to grab a new character before any other upgrades. But really my advice is to just play it organically and upgrade as you see fit.

  12. Absolutely. It's brain dead. Hell even Uncharted offers better climbing mechanics than this game. There used to be actual platforming in God of War... sure it wasn't ever anything special, but it was a lot better than what's here. And remember what you said about how they've essentially made it brain dead obvious with glowing markers where anything interactable is? It really is just very bad in this one. There's no other way to say it. They don't have any confidence in your ability to try things and be wrong about things, and risk you getting frustrated. They're trying to ke

  13. I didn’t want to rate it yet but I was thinking hard on it and I think 7.5 is also about what i’d give it too. when it comes to the platforming, the part where you climb the wall in Asgard sums up the biggest problem I had with it. I was thinking back to a similar moment in Dying Light 2 when you had to climb a large tower, and I couldn’t help but realize just how much better it was. You had to analyze your surroundings to figure out how to proceed, you sometimes had to chain together different moves, and it would get progressively more demanding the higher you got. When I finally made

  14. Honestly, I hate certain aspects of this game sooo much. I hate the stupid yappy NPCs, I hate now braindead the puzzles are because of it. Honestly, some of the levels, while absolutely beautiful... are not that well designed and fun to explore. When your side content is better than you main content, you have an issue... As you guys have said, the combat gets old and doesn't feel as good as the first game. I think some of the dialog is just terribly odd at points. I think cramming as much into the game as they wanted to so they could finish off the story really hurt certain as

  16. I don't think there will be "Pro" consoles for this generation. Not anymore. The gen is starting late enough as it is already, and there's no real "new technology" adoption push to be made. With the Pro consoles it was 4K TVs pushing that adoption. With this generation, you don't have any of that. 8K is still far away from the market adopting it, and with Ray Tracing the tech already exists on consoles. Sure, it's not great on consoles, but RT requirements ramp up very quickly.. and even AMDs biggest and baddest GPUs aren't great at it. I think you'll see "slim" revisions and
