^Larian really set the bar high for characters in RPGs There's so many of them, but you can start conversations with basically everyone and they all have highly quality, hand crafted looking models. Many of Starfield's however are clearly randomly generated and Bethesda gave no shits about actually trying to polish them up. Just another example of how they chose quantity over quality.

the whole point of them talking about space stuff, about doing something that resembles exploration and missions IN space, and WITH a spaceship.........is because if the game doesn't have it..........then its just a fucking Fallout game. Except its a Fallout game with smaller world maps. So they basically created a gloried menu system, and they took the house crafting system from Fallout 4 and turned it into a ship building system, so that you can see an animation of a ship leaving, and then it takes you to a menu loading system like The Outer Worlds. Ah that old lemming tactic of pretending to not know the sw definition of "flop" the moment an xbox game flops. Starfield is cerrainly the biggest flop since Zelda:TP. The fact that it wasn't even AA, and how much was at stake for the xbox brand....yeah I'd genuinely classify this as the biggest flop of all time.

Yeah with so many better games (including RPGs) I don't think its worth playing at this point. But if you have some time I definitely think its worth watching some of the cutscenes on youtube. The presentation for some stuff is pretty fantastic.
