It's funny because I bought the game and started it up to check it out, and it never asked me to log in. My PSN account is not linked to my Steam account either. So I don't know what the hell is going on.. but I did see a screenshot of the prompt demanding they log in.. it's weird The port seems pretty phenomenal though. Performance is butter smooth, the game precompiles shaders, so no stuttering either.. and there's tons of options to adjust and mess around with, perfect ultra-wide support and so on.. Jetpack Interactive are up there with Nixxes for PC ports of PS games IMO.

I finished astrobot. Collected 254/300 bots. Great game! It feels like we had completely forgot about the dualsense and its features and then this game comes along and utilizes them in so many clever and interesting ways. But even outside of that the levels themselves were still creatively designed and would have deserved praise in any other 3D platformer. im not the biggest fan of this sub genre but I enjoyed this a lot and if I had the time I would have gone back in and completed some of the content I missed. My overall score is a 8.8

Nice to see it making a comeback. The nerfs drove a lot of people away but it seems now with balance patches addressing issues gamers had with the game the community is slowly coming back.

Steam Deck keeps growing

Ended up getting unexpectedly gifted a SD OLED yesterday. Perfect timing since I have probably 30 or so hours of flights next month. Haven't had too much time to mess with it yet, ordered an SD card and planning on getting Emudeck setup when that arrives. What's everyones favourite game to play on this thing?

It's funny thinking back how us day one adopters of Steam were forced into it because Valve was closing down the World Opponent Network, and how pissed off we all were. Now it's the platform we all love and couldn't live without, crazy.

The "make 200 billion" claim is vastly overplaying a hand. Revenue is that much but profit for 2023 was 88 billion. An insane sun of money for sure, but a lot less easy to stomach Xbox pissing daddy Microsoft's money up the wall like a dumb spoilt teenager. And when you start seeing 80 billion in which mergers which have yet to materialise anything good, Microsoft has a much bigger problem with Xbox than simply pointing to MS revenue would have you believe.

A lot of it is because of people like you btw. People who are jumping in on Steam Deck or other handhelds because they're more console like and portable. It draws people in, and then they start building that library up and once they're a few Steam sales deep... they have new regular customers.

It’s funny you say you aren’t a big fan of the genre. I’m also not as big on these types of platformers now. But it’s been a blast and I hope to be able to finish it soon. It’s tough since I’m not home a lot. But yeah, it’s just a brilliantly made game that takes the dualsense to new levels.

I just finished world 4

I know you need to talk to the Horse and Gourd NPCs in Chapters 1-5. Gourd NPC gives you a Gourd at the end of his quest line while Horse NPC gives you a Spell. Then there's a few missable Unnamed Spirits and Boss fights. You basically get locked out of them if you beat the Chapter boss before fighting them. None of the Secret Areas are permanently missable. Chapter 1- Ring 3 Bells Chapter 2- Do the Boar quest Chapter 3 - Great Pagoda. Have to clear all the other Secret Areas first. Chapter 4- Make sure you fight Venomous
