I usually make beats on a keyboard and MPC. I never considered myself a musicion, so having a guitar is my first attempt at it. I work from home, so I have plenty of time to practice. As of recent I've been practicing Doom 3's 'Tweaker'. Had to learn about different tuning types. But so far it's been pretty fun. Wish I tried this a long time ago. Better late than never I guess. Any good song recommendations to practice with?

First I wanna say, China's government is shit. But that has nothing to do with it's economic system. It's just shit. With that being said, the movie reminds me of how, via mainstream media (yes, that includes Fox news), is incredibly anti-China, and along with it, 'anti- Commie'. It's a boogieman that is constantly thrown onto our parents and grandparents as a scaremongering tactic. And looking at this movie, nothing's changed sice the 60s. Are we in a NEW red scare? Or has the red scare never gone away?

I remember it did look interesting when it first came out, but only played a demo back when I had a 360. Never got around to actually getting into it. Now there’s a fuck ton of sequels and now they’re starting to look like pirate games. what are these games about again?

These days, worse doesn't look bad. Like Doom3 on XBox bad, or Splinter Cell 3 on PS2 bad. The power gaps between consoles isn't that big as before. Unless you're Nintendo. But Nintendo makes up for it in fun.

For many people, they do a lot of the right things, but life can have other plans. The whole "just stop buying avocado toast" thing is always a cop out. The basic necessities should not be out of reach. Your advice is great, for someone trying to elevate themselves to a higher position in life, not great if someone is just trying to exist. When I say elevate, I mean wanting a sports car, or a big house with a pool. Social mobility is stunted, it's pretty intentional when you look at how wages stagnated.

It's a capitalist country. If people are really against Big pharma, they'd advocate for universal healthcare and for the government to stop pharmaceutical companies from price gauging. The idea that anyone got rich off of this is funny because it's essentially a given with our current system.

Ya, but I think that’s sort of the staple of Mario. It wasn’t really a game with much attention to the story. As for other video game adaptions, ya, it would look incredibly dumb like the Doom movie’s FPS segment. The best type of a video game adaption is for people to watch it and not feel like it’s a video game adaption. People would take it more seriously that way. And then they can be surprised when they find out that it’s based on a video game. Everyone knows Mario is a video game character, so I feel like it gets a pass for that. Either that or

I'm just glad to see the source material actually being taken seriously. Of course they add their own twist to it, but it still respects it. The same shit I wish they did for the first Resident Evil movie, and the Doom movie. Stop changing the story dammit. And the Silent Hill movie was at least faithful aswell. Given that it was switched with the mom instead of the dad, I didn't care too much. I loved that they used the soundtrack and stuck with the premise. Really disappointed that the new Resident Evil movie was trash.

This might be the catalyst for me getting a PS5 and replaying the game again. It's funny how the remake looks exactly how I remember the PS3 version. And then I see the PS3 version. Holy shit...
