Not woke crap but whatever.
That's pretty sad. Shows how bad things are when food needs to be put in security boxes. Not sad for the store, but sad for the people who have to steal food.

Lol I bet you're happy Gates got richer off this junk . Scumbag gouk out defending corporate slime once again.
It's a capitalist country. If people are really against Big pharma, they'd advocate for universal healthcare and for the government to stop pharmaceutical companies from price gauging.
The idea that anyone got rich off of this is funny because it's essentially a given with our current system.

When your a cop you gotta tow the blue line. You give up your free will when you join the police or military, and after you become a just a henchman. Though I'd say the military has a bit more professionality thatn the police.
Once you're a cop, you work at the behest of capital. But the irony is that your only blue until you black. Then the police unions will just throw you under the bus and actually let the systems of police accountabiliy work like they're supposed to. But if they're white,, 9 times out of 10 they get paid vacation.
So black cops are essentially cannon fodder to be sacrificed to the legal system so the entire institution can save face.

I don't think the secret to Last of Us' success comes from perfect fidelity to the game's story. I'd like to see a lot more changes/surprises honestly.
The #1 thing they're getting right is adapting the aesthetic and tone of the show. They could easily add original storylines without compromising the integrity/quality because they've nailed the feel of the game. Original content could enrich the whole story, for noobs and fans alike.
Another thing they've avoided is gimmicky staging of gameplay. We don't see Joel going through a combat scenario with the shoulder camera, choking out 7 dudes. Too often live adaptations of games try to do this, and it's a basic error. The Mario movie is going to be filled with this bullshit.
Ya, but I think that’s sort of the staple of Mario. It wasn’t really a game with much attention to the story.
As for other video game adaptions, ya, it would look incredibly dumb like the Doom movie’s FPS segment.
The best type of a video game adaption is for people to watch it and not feel like it’s a video game adaption. People would take it more seriously that way. And then they can be surprised when they find out that it’s based on a video game.
Everyone knows Mario is a video game character, so I feel like it gets a pass for that. Either that or you get the early 90s live action cyberpunk adaption that confuses you as a kid because how is Mario gonna ride Yoshi if he’s a skinny ass Labrador Retriever sized animal? I tried to picture Bob Hoskins or John Leguizamo on a small dinosaur and even my 5 year old brain that it looked stupid as fuck.

Yeah, this is gonna become the new marketing gimmick for gaming.
Something I never thought I would see. Back in the days, they made cheap, licensed, cash-in games to capitalize on the release of a movie, not expensive movies/TV shows to capitalize on the game.
I'm just glad to see the source material actually being taken seriously. Of course they add their own twist to it, but it still respects it.
The same shit I wish they did for the first Resident Evil movie, and the Doom movie. Stop changing the story dammit. And the Silent Hill movie was at least faithful aswell. Given that it was switched with the mom instead of the dad, I didn't care too much. I loved that they used the soundtrack and stuck with the premise.
Really disappointed that the new Resident Evil movie was trash.

This might be the catalyst for me getting a PS5 and replaying the game again. It's funny how the remake looks exactly how I remember the PS3 version. And then I see the PS3 version. Holy shit...

I was pretty woke last night. I had a lot of coffee, not much sleep.
1 minute ago, Ramza said:Yes, Matt Walsh crime is so severe that it has to be brought up when talking about adoptive parents raping their children.
You're kind of proving my point here. It's time to let it go.
I mean that's one thing we can agree with walsh about when it comes to those parents. No argument there. He's still creeper himself.

Lmao, Matt Walsh is the problem. Not the gay couples who apparently rapes their adopted children.
Leftist having their priorities in good order.
Pedos are a class of their own seperate from straights and lgbt people. Neither side likes them. The only class I don't mind throwing off a cliff.
Matt Walsh however thinks it's totally cool to impregnate 15 year old girls.

Ah PJW, never seen a more punchable face.

Waiting for the ice caps to melt reminds me of waiting for the second coming of Jesus. When the fuck is it happening??
It's happening, just not in a Roland Emmerich kind of way.

The TLOU show opens with a character essentially claiming that the fungus virus can evolve to infect humans because of global warming.....even though there was nothing in the games that alluded to that. It really is sad how all these writers nowadays can't help but take the original source material for these properties and inject their woke beliefs into it.
It's more relatable that way.
Lots of movies and shows pull inspiration rom real life events. -
Ya I don't think anyone likes this statue.
"Hey, why don't we just make some weird statue instead of investing into something meaningful to the community! that actually has an effect on the quality of life and material conditions?" -

The party of hypocrites.
Newly elected republican house member... George Santos.... Is a drag queen 👑.
He's like a pimple that's starting to grow on the face of the republican party. I'm not even judging him being a drag queen. I'm just saying that this guy is like a plump juicy pimple growing out of their face made out of everything that is wrong with them, and they can't hide it.

Aside from the major corperate ones like Gamespot and IGN?
I like Gameranx, and a few others. Independent ones like Nakey Jakey, and the Act Man since they go deeper into talking about problems in gaming, or just talk about classic games, tapping into nostalgia.

I like your sketches too, holy shite.
but yea the AI stuff is cool and also scary... soon everything will be made by AI in media. Terminator future incoming, let's end humanity
Thanks man, I would just draw on that notebook whenever I was cashiering or making keys or on my break/lunch. Just random sketches of whatever comes to mind.
And ya, it is trippy.
It’s crazy how good it is with faces too.
here’s a regular picture I took of eggs:
I fed it to the AI and typed “aliens”
It gave me back this:

No need to put AI versions, just yours.
Been thinking of recreating the sketches myself. This was more of just experimenting with ideas.

That's actually a quite clever way to save a lot of time or not be crippled by lack of talent. Just make a pencil sketch, AI does the rest with coloring etc.
Amazing
lol True.
I was just experimenting to see how close I can get the images to look like the original sketches. But also they’re a good source of inspiration so I can get a sort of art direction.

Thanks man. They were just quick sketches I did while at work.
I don’t feel too accomplished with the AI conversions, but I do find it fun to mess with. But I think it’s a good tool for inspiration.

For many people, they do a lot of the right things, but life can have other plans.
The whole "just stop buying avocado toast" thing is always a cop out.
The basic necessities should not be out of reach. Your advice is great, for someone trying to elevate themselves to a higher position in life, not great if someone is just trying to exist.
When I say elevate, I mean wanting a sports car, or a big house with a pool.
Social mobility is stunted, it's pretty intentional when you look at how wages stagnated.
