I feel for the other game devs at the show everyone forgot about them and the only thing people remember is Halo.

MS was supposed to have their Halo CE moment for launch now it's actually a joke and a meme.

The reality is that 343i just isn't a very good developer at the end of the day. Many more studios could have made a better looking and playing Halo game with their time frame and budget.

Imagine if a PS5 game had half the pop in, the amount of PS5 SSD bashing would receive.

Why does every AAA game this gen not have an issue not looking like shit in any time of day... Be it night, morning or noon. So your game will look flat and bland for 30 minutes till the time of day changes?

So apparently this doesn't look good because it's the wrong time of day... Man the damage control.

How did Sucker Punch, Naughty Dog and Guerilla show Ghost of Tsushima, TLOU2, and Horizon two years before release and they looked awesome? This game goes gold in 3 months.

Anyone with a working brain knew this shit wouldn't work. Debunked completely. Forget using SSD to make stuff impossible on last with HDD. It can't even scale basic visuals without compromises.

Everything else they showed was a non gameplay trailer and can't even get a forza game out for launch. There seems to be a first year drought incoming.

They'll obviously add stuff like shadows, improve lighting for the final release, but the whole thing looks underwhelming and that's not changing. No idea how they thought this was presentation ready though.

343i dev confirmed Infinite is 4K with dynamic resolution scaling.

I thought they would hit and possibly improve on this visual bar... I mean it made perfect sense.
