RE7 PSVR mode on PS5 is going to be an insane improvement. But the games are already 1800p 60fps not sure what the "upgrade" will be.

They are a terrible purchase for Sony or MS because they are a publisher like Sega. Buying publishers is pointless.

Well the SSD adavantage of over 2 times is pointless. But VRS which PS5 has anyways is gonna kill it.

Its just another on the fly degradation technique that has extremely varying results in one scene it can boost FPS by 10 percent in another 30 making it a choice by devs depending on their gains. Check the Gears Tactics DF video PC, its gives questionable results in some scenes.

Why would it use VRS its an on the fly image downgrade similiar dynamic resolution. Its like expecting all games to have dynamic resolution scaling. Its not a universal technique devs will use.

The PS5 SSD specs arent impressive for PCs that will have more RAM and higher settings in a few years. Plus Pro models will bump to some extent watch Series X Pro easily go double the raw SSD over PS5.

It will probably be longer if you jump between fully explorable worlds and the two playable characters. Sony didnt overspec the SSD and by the time the Pro models roll in the current SSDs will be simply "Good enough". Watch both Pro models push the SSDs even further and 3-4 years the PS5 SSD will be a toaster/potato with people feeling the difference.
