A console's real userbase is like 30 million very high spenders, that buy like 80 percent of the games on the console sold. The rest is casuals that buy 1-2 games a year.

PSVR costs as much as a PS4 Slim. It's the best selling VR headset.

The biggest online game Fortnite doesn't require PSN Plus. It'd be a few million higher then.

Vita is a bad example becauae 3DS also sold a fraction of the DS. Nintendo had to merge their console and handheld markets into one. Smartphone era killed portable PlayStation. Maybe PSNow can revive it but I doubt it.

Don't get your hopes up for a Pro model just yet. Last time it was just the standard switch getting better battery life if I remember correctly. For the love of fucking god add HDR at least.

4K and ray tracing are already a huge 60fps cockblock, nevermind a Dev design choice for 30fps.

If you're really expecting 60fps en masse next gen, it's up to you to be disappointed. It's just consoles, you know budget boxes under your TV...

Also its probably RDNA1 for both with baked in RDNA2 features. Don't overhype and disappoint yourselves.

At the end of the day we expect a lot better visually from next gen than Control. People want a Millstone Shadow fall or Ryse moment for these machines. It's a fair expectation, but it will come at a price.

Control with RT runs at 60fps only at 1080p on monster PCs. And that's a current gen game.

You're looking at current gen game benchmarks. Add next gen visual upgrades and ray tracing. Unless your a racing game, fighting game or something 60fps is unlikely to be the developer's design choice.

I keep reading such dumb expectations every fucking gen. Ironically PS2 had the largest amount of 60fps games.

Next gen only ass Creed. 30fps guaranteed. But the CEO said next gen will be able to switch between different time lines and world on the fly. Which sounds pretty boss to me.

Kleegamefan saw an open world UE4 game on next gen, it's early but shit isn't even hitting 30fps yet.

I'll eat a melted PS5 and XBox if Ass Creed, Far Cry or Cyberpunk are 60fps.
