Speaking of PSVR2 potential sales, I see a LOT of people saying that PSVR looks like beta test. They are waiting for the tech to be refined with PSVR2, and that's Playstation owners. It's a bit like making the Dreamcast or PS2 your online gaming platform, sure it was "there" but shit was rough and it took the PS3 and a PSN overhaul for online gaming to become a real thing.

I remember S hittng something like $179, or something like that. It just makes zero sense to get a SAD. The price difference needs to be more significant for the lose of the drive, then maybe it could be justified. Also couldnt they shove 3-6 months of game pass into this, so it wouldnt be as embarassing for a digital only console. Jesus. PC Cucks got game pass for $1 for fucks sake.

That's mostly on Nvidia supplying them with an underpowered 2005 GPU in 2006. The RSX sucked objectively. It doesn't even matter at this point, that was 15 years ago under a Japanese hardware team under Krazy Ken, now we're getting two competitors using exactly the same hardware under an American like Cerny. -
The HDR/SDR difference in Death Stranding... WOW.

Unreal 4's Virtual Texturing, I think this is what they talked about in the Scarlett video when they said they can use the SSD as "back up RAM". " Streaming Virtual Texturing Streaming Virtual Texturing reduces texture memory overhead when using very large texture sizes, including support for virtual texture lightmaps and UDIM (U-Dimension). Stream virtual textures is an alternative way to stream textures from disk compared to existing mip-based texture streaming. "The main reason for Virtual Texturing (VT), or Sparse Virtual Textures, as it is

Death Stranding has been out for some time and doesn't even have a patch yet, crazy how they didn't need to fix shit.

Wonder if this could be partly integrated into their custom SSD solution. Doubt it though, sounds way too high end. It's apparently a layer between the SSD and RAM. Target specs:128GB drive [8 x 16GB] - 25.6 GB/s read, 9.6 GB/s write, PCIe gen5 x8, target wattage 14.6W+256GB drive [16 x 16GB] - 51.2 GB/s read, 19.2 GB/s write, PCIe gen5 x16, target wattage 27.2W+ Transfer speeds of older tech: Today's retail PCIe gen4 x4 NVME SSDs top at around 5 GB/s. Mass consumer PCIe gen3 NVME SSDs are around 3 GB/s Old SATA3 SSDs are 512 MB/s

Really up for a survival zombie game, with Dead Rising officially dead.
