As a TV gamer this is awesome if it helps with load times in all games. I don't care about battery life. Overclock everything more for TV mode if the cooling can handle it.

The Cell alone cost over a billion dollars apparently. Looks like making console hardware is becoming only cheaper, with using pre existing architecture from AMD. This is good news for the console future, and PS4 made more profit in 1 year than PS2 lifetime. Now that we have the numbers, it's literally IMPOSSIBLE for the market to become non viable and be replaced. Dedicated console hardware is here to stay forever. Literally.

I don't get why they are not saving Halo for the next gen launch. They are launching Gears 6 months before that. That's their two biggest IPs out of commission for years. Yeah there will be remasters, but it doesn't negate the point.

Sheep really need to abandon their Nintendo hardware fantasies. They made their bed when they went with mobile hardware. Nintendo is not cutting their most successful system short in 4 years, and any portable hardware released even years after PS5/XBix will be a joke in comparison. The handheld switch is proof the difference is going to get even more brutal.
