The current rumours are that the tablet will function as their TV streaming solution for PSNow as well. Sony is just doing their own thing. They get a streaming box, a portable gaming solution, and a multi functional off screen solution for PS5. It makes perfect sense for a hardware company.

Their target to be fine was 100k sales in a month, apparently it hit that on steam alone in a week. Also THQ Nordic just bought Warhorse the devs of Kingdom Come. Those guys are on a role with their AA budget games.

It's a cool game, but dropping and collecting random garbage to get a weapon isn't my thing. More into PVE stuff like Warframe for my MP experience.

One is the strategy of a third party oriented publisher. There other is that of a hardware makers. Simple as that.

Current gen almost ended up having 4 gigs of Ram, with early 2012 prototypes having a 2 gigs of Ram target. PS4 was anything but underpowered for a commercial 399 console. Don't forget a year before we basically got a PS360 powered Wii U. People constantly have unrealistic expectations for super casual commercial console boxes.

Lemme guess when MS rolls out XCloud on Switch, Lemmings are going to be calling Sony stupid for not rolling out PSNow on Switch.

Yeah MS is releasing all their games on PC day 1. Now we should expect Sony to release Horizon 2 and God of War 2 on PC day 1. Stupid Sony!

Sony's big streaming push will have their dedicated PlayStation tablet. They aren't going to do phones.

I thought this would be a standard feature for all streaming services from everyone Sony, Amazon, Google etc.

It looks a like a PS360 era game like Saints Rows that I would get for 20 bucks.

I don't see how they are comparable, they are almost nothing alike.

That's mostly the same XBox core buyer than would buy an MS branded Wii U. They're on lock regardless.
