Honestly the whole appeal of PC gaming is spending a lot of money and getting a really powerful platform. No clue why you don't just buy games on consoles with a mid range PC.

Sales don't really matter but at this point with low hardware sales, and hobopass making XBox gamers skip buying games. You can expect a lot of smaller AA Japanese support to evaporate of the platform. Imagine the XBox sales for something like Valkyrie Elysium or Star Ocean Divine Force, no wonder S-E is shit canning XBox outside their AAA franchises.

That's a pity, I hope ray tracing on consoles becomes more common with a Pro. But honestly given the choice between a 120fps mode, no matter how much prettier the RT mode is framerate always wins for me.

Actually it's only 4 times more powerful, it's the DLSS and Nvidia tech that push it to the limits. With RDNA4 PS5 should be able to close the RT gap to some extent and make it widespread in games probably at 30fps doubt 60fps will be on the table. Then again Spiderman has 60fps RT mode, so god knows,.

If we go by PS4 and Switch, Switch 2 will outsell the PS5. No one posts Japanese sales since the original DS, PS2 was the last console to be able compete with handhelds there. That market is more of an anomally anyways.

People bitching about the Pro I don't get you. This thing is 18 months away when the cross gen period will be over, on top of that Elden Ring GOTY 2022 runs at sub 60fps. GOTY 2023 RE4 runs at sub 60fps and isn't even full 4K, and a miniscule hair setting and ray tracing puts the performance even lower than that. When people demand non cross gen games, we're going to see 60fps modes become even rarer when the 1440p 30fps UE5 games with lumine start popping out.

Half the games I own either keep their price or even increase in price, most importantly I can own a game thats not going to get delisted or have half the soundtrack cut like the GTA Trilogy. I don't even sell games since I like to collect everything even non rare games.

If I can't touch it and own it. I'm pirating it.

Pro will come out in 2024 with 3nm we'll get a real PS5 slim then.

I don't think thats even remotely possible with the hardware difference between a mobile and desktop AMD APU.

The whole point according to lemmings gamepass is cheap and they don't care about owning games. A torrent on PC is free and you actually own the game. I actually own Halo Infinite and Gears 5 without the need for a sub to have access to them.

If Switch 2 was out RE4 remake would be on Nintendo. There really is no defending the current Switch hardware, add on top it's abysmal loading times.

The Fuck is the difference between a rental or a torrent.It's basically a paid torrent but with a torrent I can play any time without a rental period running out.
