I agree, but even then, they have to innovate or try something different, or it's just the same game again. Mario 64 was essentially the perfect transition from 2d to 3d for Mario. You're never going to get that same experience from another Mario game. Another game exactly like Mario 64 would have been good, but still disappointing, because there's lots of interesting new things they could do. They took a gamble and unfortunately stumbled with it. Nintendo will show some stuff... prob Bayo 3 and Luigi's Mansion 3. Hoping for a megaton.

It's like the stars are aligning for them. They've got their shit together. Nice new, highly salable architecture. Solid security. Core counts through the roof. Way better prices than the competition... And most importantly.. they've got a solid plan for the future and are executing rather well on it. You can never count Intel out because they are simply massive compared to AMD and have crazy resources (also Jim Keller is now at Intel) but things are looking very good for AMD. You going for a Ryzen 3000 build?

This is AMD's time. Their processors just keep looking better and better every day. And when the Ryzen 3000 series comes, they're going to be either as fast as Intel or slightly faster, with none of this security BS... and their Threadripper and Epyc CPUs obliterate Intel in price/performance. They've been slowly but surely gaining server marketshare last year, and this year that's going to accelerate. I honestly can't wait to be rid of this 6700K. I mean, it's a good CPU, but I'm counting the days until Ryzen 3000 is released. Either the 12 or 16 core SKU.

That's a 1/4 of the Xbox user base. That's pretty decent. 10m people paying $10 a month. Mind you many of those are $2 subs They'll gain good traction with next gen, and actual games releasing.
