  1. Well of course. Obviously there was never any real intention to continually update the fallback layer.. because the idea is that future hardware is going to support hardware based RT acceleration. They built the fallback layer for development purposes. Nvidia released their fallback layer driver. AMD already have support ready to go... but wont enable it.. quite simply because performance is abysmal, it requires 6GB ram.. and there's hardly any game support. There's no "drivers" coming from AMD that are going to change their RT situation. DynamiteCop needs to stop acting like
  2. Yea, they did... and where are they? They have support already but aren't enabling it... because they say that they wont support it until their entire product range can do it... which means 6GB+ on all GPUs.. from low to high end. Regardless, this demo doesn't use DXR. It's just amazing how they had the gall to show a 4K/30 video of a demo and then much later... after AMD fags gloated so much.. revealed that it's only actually 1080p 30 on that GPU. lmao.. such fucking liars to try to make their implementation sound impressive/superior to others. lol
  3. Funny how it wasn't in it's infancy when Nvidia first announced and showed their RT... Yes.. you are getting owned. You touted that Vega 56 was running this at 4K/30 as a reason why Crytek's implementation was superior and that "compute RT" was good enough and Nvidia scammed people... Again... you seem to be missing the fact that this is a severely paired back implementation of RT, in a very basic scene with nothing dynamic happening. This implementation does NOT require any drivers from AMD's end... drivers aren't and wouldn't be exposing any hardware functions to
  4. LMAO, I still can't get over the fact that they outright fucking lied that it was 4K/30 when in reality it's 1080p30... Also the fact that Deeno thinks that Crytek's implementation requires and would improve with driver support... which it doesn't Crytek's implementation is API and hardware agnostic... there's no "drivers to improve anything"... it runs how it runs. It's funny how you were claiming it was all superior before.. stating that it was taking advantage of AMD's hardware.. when it was "running at 4K/30". But now it's revealed that it runs at 1080p/30.. a
  5. Nah, it's fine. Better than the competition with NO RT cores
  6. It's also the best RT @ 1080p card for the money, dummy RTXXX
  7. Doesn't care about RT... but buys an RTX card, and is always first to post in threads about it DumboRTX
  8. And when I showed Deeno the other results for the other games with GTX cards running RT, he said that the results were only shitty because they were designed around RTX... and that Crytek's superior RT was the way forward!! Hilarious how that amazing 4K 30 simplistic tech demo... is now really 1080p 30
  9. The only reason people do is because of terrible AMD gpus
  10. It's not. Not even close. The only thing Vega 56 is giving me is a laugh... And Vega is giving you... a single fucking demo (that isn't even released yet) that runs at 1080p 30fps.. ROFL.. How many CryEngine games you play lately Jon? You idiots were trying to claim that because of this demo, "compute only" RT was just as viable as RTX and that Nvidia scammed their customers Crytek literally fucking lied outright and you fucks ate it up
  11. No, but Dynamite sure was in that thread I quoted I'm saying what Crytek is saying dipshit. Read it... ROFL Faga 56 Deeno and JonnoHBR "BUBUT LOOK at wat a Vega 56 is doing REMhbr spent $10000 for RT and teh AMDuz it better " Clown ass idiots
  12. They've released an interview about their demo and how they did it... https://www.cryengine.com/news/how-we-made-neon-noir-ray-traced-reflections-in-cryengine-and-more They outright fucking LIED to everyone claiming that THAT demo vid they released was running on a Vega 56 So RTX will allow 4x the resolution (both raster and rt) and more dynamic objects in the scene... Vega 56 1080p 30 @DynamiteCop!HBR
  13. Tim is the fucking man. And nah Dynamite.. MS has made some drastic changes in the last 2 years honestly, with regards to how they view their gaming platform, open source software, and Windows. People completely misunderstood exactly what Tim was complaining about before... MS moving in the direction of walling developers to release games through the Windows Store and fundamentally changing which API they must use at a system level IS completely unacceptable for an "open platform" such as Windows. Tim creating Epic Game Store and paying for exclusives is not even cl
  14. That is cool as hell. I'm really interested in seeing what they come up with for the next controllers, and that goes for both Xbox and Playstation.
  15. I'm all for behind the scenes documentaries of game development... but they're trying to make this into a big event and "overproducing" it too much for my tastes. It seems like they know they have fuck all else going on right now so they want to just keep on tooting the horn of their biggest game from last year. I'm kinda getting tired of hearing about GoW tbh.
  16. I hope so. They've really got to announce the release date. I'm thirsty as hell for that fucking game
  17. It's apparently 10min long Sony, just fuck right off. Go hide in a cave somewhere and don't come out until you're ready to talk about either TLOU2, Death Stranding, or PS5.
  18. Yea, so this episode confirms the leaks on reddit were true. The rest of the season is spoiled and it's absolutely pathetic. Hugely disappointed. Oh well
