  1. I think it's fine for all genres. Nobody is playing their Deck for 5 hours continuously.. Nobody complains about Diablo 3 on the Switch... @Twinblade How do you use your phone dude? lol
  2. It's fine. And did you forget there's an actual "console" UI in that game which pushes it to one side and makes it easier to see? How about the fact that he's got the font size on "medium" and you can adjust it to "large"? U blind homie.
  3. Nah. You're just blind as fuck apparently. 7'' is fine.
  4. Payback for the CMA trying to block their deal. When it's done MS will send UK reviewers cloud only codes
  5. Yea! @sugarhigh Why would someone who doesn't play games play this one? You say "the game's moment has passed"... but I do agree. The PC version was the only relevant one to begin with.
  6. So many bangers. Baldur's Gate 3 Armored Core 6 Sea of Stars Starfield Lies of P Alan Wake 2 It just don't stop.
  7. It's-a me David-a P. Thank-a you for-to playing my game! Woo hoo!
  8. That's kind of his point.. we don't know yet lol.
  9. There's so much good stuff dropping recently. Armored Core 6 is awesome. I want to play that Sea of Stars game. Starfield dropping at the end of the week.. gahddamn
  10. You've got to have some shitty parts to make the godly parts that much more godly. Yes, DOS2 is another great game. I know you're probably not wanting to go TOO far back in time... but there are a lot of good RPGs like this on PC from back in the day. A lot of them are dirt cheap now too.. so you may just want to consider them at some point.
  11. I plat'd the game. But also my daughter has been playing it as well. It's a fun game.
  12. Never in a million years thought that you would have enjoyed this game man lol. That's awesome
  13. This is true. There's still Bluepoint, Bend, and Sucker Punch to hear from. We know Naughty Dogs next game.. we know Insomniacs next two games.. What else do/don't we know about yet?
  14. The Steam Deck can't turn my PC on from full power off obviously, but from sleep it can.. and automatically launch the game. Because I have this game installed on both my Deck and my PC and can choose to either run it from the Deck, or Stream from my PC.. just click the arrow beside the play button
  15. Yes you can. I can stream games from my PC to my Steam Deck just like remote play.... so no... it doesn't apply to Valve's handheld. I imagine if you're already playing a game, and decide to play on the Portal.. you select it from the menu, and it will switch over automatically and disable the PS5 HDMI out. Perhaps if you start the PS5 up from the Portal, it will automatically detect that and display to the device instead of the TV, and if you decide you want to move to the TV.. you select "stop" and it switches back over automatically. I think you can already assume
  16. Well, yea they'd have to build the functionality specifically for people who buy this device... The games would have to have a normal UI for people without it anyway lol. All I'm saying is that it would add to the appeal to be able to use it for special kind of functionality like that. For all intents and purposes it's a controller with a screen.. and some slight processing power behind it. They could make it more attractive than they're currently making it. -PSNow streaming support (no PS5 required) -Game specific funtionality (2nd screen) -Remote Play (su
  17. Yeah.. that's basically what I would have them do with a future console. Include a little VMU like device with the controller but allow you to remove/insert it like a VMU-like device/touch screen and have it display game hud and even buttons for quick access and stuff like that. I think having it as a separate thing and not built right into the controller is better because it would have it's own battery and wouldn't leech from the controller. I always loved the idea of the VMU. Such a cool idea... Ahead of its time.
  18. So I was thinking about this over the weekend.. and you know my opinion of this device as a portable hasn't changed at all... When you look at it from the perspective of a portable.. it's abysmal.. There's a better device to spend $200 on that will allow you to play games in a corner somewhere while you family members watch the TV... and that's called the Switch Lite. Now... on the other hand... if you look at this device from an "Enhanced" or "Pro" controller point of view... then it's actually not bad. I've spent $200+ on an elite/pro controller before.. so it would be hypocrit
  19. I felt this with the 360/PS3 gen. I knew PS4/XO would be my last consoles from those two. 2 AAA open world action games a year where you ride a horse or some shit like that... whoop-de-do Nintendo will be the only console I will buy from now on. PC+Nintendo.. fun and innovation
  20. You been talkin real reckless lately
  21. This actually is remastered in a modern engine. The kex engine. The best thing about these remasters is that they keep faithful to the originals while updating them in sensible ways to work on modern platforms. And yes, the best thing about this announcement.. is that it could lead to Outcast and Academy
  22. Developers can cry that developing for a system sucks all they want... OF COURSE they're going to do that... What games are 3rd party develpers developing that have proven to be so advanced that they can't be downgraded enough to work on the Series S? Go ahead and list them... Mr. Diminishing Returns. You got 1 game with BG3... Should they have not released the console because 1 game in 3 years is proving hard for the developers to port? Are the only games you can list ones with Split Screen modes? Because in my mind.. that's a non issue.. and there's workarounds. Multipla
  23. You hit the nail on the head. As many GOTY awards as this will win.. it will be impossible for it to beat Zelda overall. Zelda simply appeals to more people.
  24. I feel this haha! I use 125, but that's only because I just prefer how it looks with Ultrawide. Things are bigger so it's easier to see everything from side to side in my periphery lol. You do have the monitor set to it's highest refresh rate in the Nvidia control panel, right? It could have defaulted to 60. 60 to 100+ is absolutely huge in difference of smoothness to me. Even 120 to 144 is noticeable. Past 144 though it drops off a lot, but 175 still feels just a tiny bit smoother and more responsive... The more time you spend with it at 10
