  1. Should add that Ray-tracing DOES require more data to be processed by the CPU thus raising the CPU requirements up a bit as well.
  2. You wont need that. They've been listing high end parts as recommended specs for a long time. You can basically disregard the CPU and RAM listed completely. You've been around the block, you know this shit Twinblade...
  3. On the surface. This game is going to be a lot different than any Souls game before it.
  4. Xbox sucks And you don't need some massive dell in your living room. You can fit full sized gpus into small form factor cases these days. Literally the size of an Xbox One OG. And who could possibly believe you? You said you weren't going to buy a new PC before... then you did. You said you weren't going to play games on it... you are. You said that you weren't going to upgrade it... and you have..already. By mid next-gen, the transformation will be complete
  5. YES. The lickers if anything are the real pain in the asses!
  6. Nah, I wouldn't personally revoke anything any mod or admin did. If it was done, there's probably a reason. If I didn't agree with something, I'd talk to Cooke or Alphonse and see about getting whatever changed and whatever they decided goes.
  7. Holy fuck you guys are pussies Wahhh I don't get enough ammo to kill every zombie Wahhh I shoot them in the head 124 times and they still get up Wahhh Mr. X is always chasing me Wahhh the game isn't exactly the same as the original SURVIVAL HORROR. Deal with it
  8. Well you're not going to get 2x the performance and better looking effects at a console level price... There's lots of games on PC that aren't on Xbox... and eventually... you'll learn to ditch the xbox and just play on PC
  9. Just look at this godliness. This game is going to be one of those poetry in motion type things as people master the combat. It makes Bloodborne/Dark Souls combat look stale
  10. Do yourself a favor and don't run... literally. If you walk he's not on your ass nearly as consistently.
  11. They ARE using? They've been saying that for years... WHERE ARE THE RECEIPTS? 4 products..
  12. I am saying "see, I told you so!" because you're absolutely retarded to think that they'd use old generation HMB memory due to the reasons I listed.. among others. It was obvious back then that you were just wishful thinking in the hopes that these new consoles would have huge amounts of memory bandwidth. And you can claim that I made this thread under the guise of HBM2 and posted the price of "a completely different memory"..... but just think for a second. 16GB of HBM2 (as of now, not 1 or 2 years ago...) costs $320. How much RAM did you expect these new consoles to have? 24GB or 32? Th
  13. Nah, it was absolutely stupid to think that. There's tons of reasons. Low cost HBM would have reduced bandwidth, costs would still be through the roof on a product launch of this magnitude... this isn't a discreet GPU.. it's a console that sells 10s of millions of units. Not to mention there's thermal issues, as well as latency issues which make it not ideal as system memory. They simply aren't and would never consider using old first generation HBM technology. GDDR suits their needs much better.
  14. No I didn't. I already told you that it didn't matter. I told you that they aren't going to use any generation of HBM. Thinking that they'd use an old generation of memory on new FUTURE hardware was stupid on your part to begin with.
  15. Not really. It's maxed out... We all know that many gfx options are resource draining with little to no visual difference. Running the game at console quality settings gives you a huge performance boost in most games. You have to compare them fairly. Your 2060 will play probably any game out at 4K 30fps with console settings. That's a $350 gpu. The 970 plays a lot of games at 4K/30 just fine. Digital Foundry even has a series dedicate to running 4K on a budget. It's pretty much in line with consoles.
  16. Seems like the game will support RTX right out of the gate. Color me impressed.
  17. So PSVR = ~700,000 PC headsets = ~300,000 Oculus Quest = ~500,000 Just in Q4 2018 alone.. That's pretty decent. Oculus got some momentum with the Quest. It's pretty much the best hardware for VR out there currently, considering everything. It's completely untethered, has really great inside-out tracking and good performance. It's no surprise that it's doing well and people are interested. Tethering to a PC is definitely contributing to slower adoption. People see it as more of a chore... especially since on the Oculus Rift you have 2 or 3 cameras to pl
  18. No chance PS5 wont be under 10TF (probably 11TF) and MS' console will probably 12-13.
