I'd never buy a PSVR currently. I ALMOST did because they are dog ass cheap... but decided against it. Possibly would get a PSVR2... if Sony would make it compatible with PC... which they should consider. Simple VR link connection and everything is up and running with a driver install. Would be amazing.

I'm not saying anything ridiculous... Astro-bot is overrated. It's nothing special. It's cute... and well polished and presented. It's an easy title for the masses to latch on to and push. As a VR game... it does nothing exemplary, imo. It's not the second coming.. It's just really good.

I'm not hating... I'm being realistic. The game is GROSSLY overrated. It's a great little package... some neat implementations of ideas done hundreds of times before into a nice cute little package. THATS what Astro-bot is.... it's not VR's Citizen Kane and SM64 moment... lmao not even close.

It's true and you god damn well know it The game is fine... but it's not a landmark fucking achievement in VR. It does NOTHING new or interesting that hasn't been done in VR before.

PSVR earns nothing for developers

Once we get that fidelity, along with the extreme ease of use... VR is going to explode.

There's the simple fact that it's the future of display technology. There's nowhere else for display tech to go... So people can claim VR will fail all they want... but it will never go away... it simply goes back to the drawing board until the right company implements it at the right time with the right features and ease of use.

It was on their slide during their conference. Apparently it's doubled from before within the last year or so.

So Nvidia is releasing the RTX 2060, bringing Ray-tracing and DLSS to the wider consumer market for $350.. it performs at around or perhaps slightly better than the 1070Ti (and most certainly will in future games that take advantage of the Turing architecture) and releases on Jan 15th... a couple of weeks from now. So is the idea that AMD is apparently going to beat that performance for $100 less? Because it's looking like if they don't... and at the same time don't have RTX.... then it's going to be even more of a massive failure then even I foresaw..

It releases Jan 15th so I'm guessing that will be the day it goes up for pre-order. I really don't know though. Maybe some 3rd party sites will have the pre-orders up sooner.

Nvidia are testing async (freesync) monitors to test them for gsync compatibility, so in a future driver update those monitors will be fully supported by gsync. They're testing out all the async monitors released and are certifying the ones that pass their testing. So far out of 400 monitors, they've certified 12 of them lol.. But in the future, more monitors should be supportable... which is good for people who own those freesync monitors and don't want to feel locked into a GPU vendor due to free/g-sync.
