  1. Aza's mad because his condition forces him to buy shitty games just because they get a rerelease
  2. I like how things are still popping in 15 seconds after the map loaded
  3. Ah and as someone on ResetERA just pointed out... this is likely what the "next Zelda game is sooner than we think" comment from Game Informer is coming from. Kind of a bummer if that's what it is.. I'd love a MM style twist on BotW's formula... or again, an entirely new 2d Zelda game. This is still good though.
  4. Oh god.. yea I'm remembering now. SS was TERRIBLE for tutorial shit For Switch owners coming off of BotW, that's going to be a rough time
  5. Oh yea, you're right. I'm thinking of Twilight Princess' motion controls Yea, they would have to do a bit of work, but it should be easily doable. You're probably on the right track with the analog stick controlling the angles. We'll have to see.. either way, at the end of the day, it will probably still control better than the Wii version.
  6. Another great retro vid by John. I love the retro series.
  7. Not to mention the Switch Joy cons are 100% capable of all the motion controls of Skyward Sword... so it's a complete non issue lmao
  8. No it wouldn't. That's some stupid shit if I ever heard it.
  9. There have been NO performance improvements to the game on WiiU. It's the exact same performance as when it launched. It slows down significantly more, and more often, than the Switch version does.. especially these days. The Switch version did receive a slight boost in troublesome areas with patch 1.1.1, which didn't affect the WiiU version at all. Is DynamiteCop insinuating that because the game got updates on both versions since patch 1.1.1 which simply said "various fixes to improve gameplay" that both versions presumably got similar improvements to performance... which is
  10. It's so stupid that literally every ounce of evidence points towards 2020 and you keep digging yourself deeper. I am going to ban you over this
  11. Which buttons on the other controllers are pressure sensitive? lmao. Yea, the d-pad is garbo, but only because of the input issue, it feels great otherwise. What games are actually using analog triggers? Racing games and uh..... LOL. The importance of analog triggers is overstated. They're obviously nice to have... but they're actually criminally underused compared to how much importance people place on them. All next gen controllers should have dual-stage triggers though anyway.
  12. The biggest change and improvement is going to come from the new shader pipeline which will allow things never possible before. With the extra memory and CPU, game geometry complexity is about to sky rocket, meaning less fake bullshit and more actual geometry which will better and more accurately react to lighting and improve smaller visible details all over the scene.
  13. Well, you get an A for effort.. you keep coming back!
  14. There will definitely be diminishing returns in some ways, however, there's going to be obscene amounts of geometry possible on next generation hardware. It shouldn't be understated just how much of a difference that can make. Draw distances can and will be pushed out much farther than before... and it's one of those things that you don't really think about it until you see them compared, but expect to see much "fuller" looking and natural scenes with far more physics and unique objects and texture detail. Mesh shaders and Task shaders are going to allow for INSANE amounts of shi
  15. Nah. Assuming we see legit next gen only games within the first year, they'll put current gen games to shame visually. You'll see breh.
  16. That's PC gaming already.. Nah man.. you're going to be surprised at just how good shit looks within the first year. It's going to be quite the jump.
  17. Kinda forgot that shit was coming up. Hopefully there's some good shit to show. With Sony not being at E3 next year, and it being very unlikely that they have anything to announce for the first half of the year (otherwise they would have just done their E3 this year and then stopped next year imo) do you guys think we'll see something new from The Last of Us 2?
  18. It makes it not ideal for some games, but more ideal for others. Hell, even the Xbox One Elite controller has switches to shorten the throw so that it's basically a digital trigger. Of course, that would be the optimal solution for the Pro controller as well... I can't lie. I'd also take the Xbox One's d-pad over the Pro controller's. But the buttons and everything else are quite close to perfect for me. It's definitely the more comfortable of the two imo. They're all pretty great controllers with pluses and minuses though really.
  19. Surely he's referring to the Joycons and not the Switch Pro controller, right? Because the Pro controller is easily the best and most comfortable controller out there.
