  1. This coming gen is definitely a transitional gen for MS. It's their last traditional formal dedicated Xbox console generation. They'll come with the Xbox 2 and the Streaming box this coming gen, and then the gen after that, they'll release another new box, except it will be a Xbox branded small form factor PC. They will NOT be R&D'ing a new custom built dedicated console. All of their teams will develop their games on windows based PCs which run on the box and PC natively, as well as be streamed to various other devices. I said this all on the other forum. After that gen.
  2. Well, it's a long long looooong way out anyway... but it's still 50/50 imo. But yea, seems very possible. Sony kind of distanced themselves from Until Dawn (the teams next game is multiplat) and Detroit looks like it could be the same.
  3. No. It's supposed to come out when it's done.
  4. Holy shit these fucking graphics First glimpse at real next gen visuals. Cyberpunk
  5. My man! You too... that's a stunning TV
  6. No... no game benefits from faster performance
  7. and ignoring Xbox consoles completely... for free
  8. I think initially they are using modified XO S boards to do testing and slowly roll the service out. If the service becomes successful... they will absolutely transition to high powered PC server clusters which can also be used for other things. This is really just a stop gap and they are using their surplus S hardware to fill the gap. As you said.. their plans aren't XO games only... this is the future of Xbox... these things will be completely dated trash in 2-3 years... Those clusters will be swapped out with high performing PC parts which will likely each power multiple in
  9. Why would you ask me to equate it's value to something that's worthless?
  10. The most beautiful GPU I've ever seen Time to throw this bitch in and test it out
  11. Yea, it's stupid. I wonder what "issues" might mean though? Anyway, it's obvious they are preparing things to be better for the PS5.. which should be the priority.. but here's the thing... Instead of having people revert back to their old IDs if they are having issues... why doesn't the system just automatically use the old ID for games that could potentially have issues, while the new default ID is used for all games that they confirm have no issues and all future games? The fact that they suggest that people revert to their old ID if there is a problem is just ridi
  12. Someone apparently said that Detroit was the final game in their contract with Sony? I dunno if that's true or not But if that's true.. then it could possibly be a multiplatform game. Who knows?
  13. I'm just buggin. It's most certainly nothing. They likely require PC engine expertise to begin preliminary work on their next generation title. PS5 hardware doesn't exist at this point and their dev kits are essentially PCs with target specs similar to what the console will have. They'll likely begin the process of development on PC and then transition it to the final dev kits when they eventually receive them.
  14. Apparently it's still necessary to state as a requirement
  15. lmao people on ResetERA suspecting that maybe MS is also buying Quantic Dream
