Pretty awesome that outside of Persona 3 Remake, there hasn't really been anything leaked that wasn't really already known or confirmed about before. Hopefully they can make it another 12 hours.. would be nice to have some legitimate surprises.

It's not THAT weird. It's literally 1080p but wider lol.. If you're a fan of high refresh-rate gaming, then it's good enough for a lot of people.

Read what I said again. If you take a 3840x2160 4K monitor, and run it in Ultrawide, you'll essentially have 3840 vertical pixels, and 1600 horizontal pixels. It's essentially taking the 4K monitor and chopping off the top and bottom. And yes, it's about the same pixel density for the size of the monitor, that said, from where I sit, it definitely looks sharper than my 2560x1440 ROG display as I'm a bit further back. 3440x1440 is about 40% of the pixels of 4K.

Mine is 3840x1600 and it's essentially what you'd get running ultrawide on a 4K monitor. Looks awesome.. perfect middle ground imo. I always downsample from a higher res too.

Why? Well... Mario crossed $1.3M at the box office, and Zelda could do great numbers as well. All of us who grew up with Zelda and Mario since the beginning are nostalgic as fuck to see these characters in some good fun animated movies.. and we also have children which are around the right age to go and enjoy them with as well. He'll definitely have a voice in the movie if they make one, no doubt. Probably wont talk much, but will say enough. What I really want now though, is a Luigi's Mansion movie. That needs to happen!

It's not Xbox exclusive.... That's clearly just the trailer meant for the Xbox Showcase... they're not going to advertise the other versions.. just like they didn't with the recently released Persona games.

The service is incredible, when they have games to release... Can you imagine Disney+, Paramount+, PrimeVideo, Netflix and whatever else... if they went 1.5 years without releasing any original content?

That was a surprise shadow drop of a game nobody knew existed lol... it didn't really move any needle outside of maybe 1 month. (Funny that's the best thing they've done all year so far..) If there's no mid-gen updates, then yes, console games will definitely start to look lower res and show their limitations compared to the newest PC hardware. But at the same time, if they DO release mid-gen consoles... then the next just certainly wont be as impressive as it would have otherwise. Pick your poison.

That only happens when you have games which don't properly set the FOV and camera distance. That certainly was a problem in the past with UW modes either being hacked in without proper FOV adjustment and camera placement adjustment, but now the games which support UW natively typically have the appropriate adjustments so that there is no warping.

Yea, it's getting better and better all the time with more support, but you still get games like Diablo 4 for example which support it during gameplay but not in cutscenes. If you have an Ultrawide monitor though, "Flawless Widescreen" is your friend. So simple to use and adds support for tons of games.

5% of ~140M users = ~7M But yes, once you switch, you're not going to want to go back.

I find it's good to do the ones that are nearby, but don't stress out about running way across the region every time. It'll become easier to get around once you have your mount, which is quite a ways into the campaign.
