  1. I was super interested, but yeah, this is from some apparent mobile phone game company... I'd be very surprised if this shit ever sees the light of day, and if the combat is even as close to as cool as it looks here in the trailer. Hype is completely deflated for now.
  2. I'm so excited for this game! I loved the original despite its issues, and this one looks dope too To be fair though, I love pretty much all of Remedy's games. Quantum Break was great, and so was Control I love that they seemingly have dual protagonists this time around. I like this new character Agent Anderson a lot.. she's seems very likable. The voice acting is on point too. The visuals look incredible too. Northlight firing on all cylinders
  3. Can't wait for this. I had a blast with the betas. Gonna roll with a Barbarian my first run.
  4. Have any of you seen this individual? Last known location: Attending the Playstation Showcase Livestream Been missing since: The afternoon of May 24th, 2023 Potentially Suicidal: ✓ If you know where FIRECOWARD is, please contact us at 1-775-TCH-BFAR (long distance charges may apply) @FIREPOWER Please just come home. We miss you! We're sure Playstation will have another Showcase towards the end of the year!!
  5. You can add Battlenet as a non-Steam game and it will open up the launcher, but you can't add games from within Battlenet to Steam separately, because when you try to launch them it wont connect. You litearally have to run them from the launcher itself. Assholes lol. Edit: Oh I see, you're talking about Steam Deck. Still, the same limitation exists there.. but yea.
  6. This is off topic, but @Twinblade but did you ever play Song of Horror? It's on sale on Steam right now. https://store.steampowered.com/app/1096570/SONG_OF_HORROR_COMPLETE_EDITION/ I don't think I ever played it.. but it looks like a decent classic RE / Silent Hill inspired game.
  7. Watch-Dogs lookin ass trailer Ubisoft lookin ass trailer CG lookin ass trailer Ass lookin ass trailer Not sure what Sony and Haven were thinking about there, but apparently this is the game/studio that impressed Mark Cerny so much that he just had to work with them... MAYBE the actual game will be decent.. who knows. But that trailer was not it.
  8. Where did I say it looked bad? I said it didn't look how I expected it to look..being only slightly better than Remastered and Miles Morales. I had presumed from the initial teaser trailer that this game would be a massive visual overhaul... and I'm certainly not the only person who expected that. Look on twitter and you can see tons of PS fans disappointed with how the game looks, and that they were expecting more from a PS5 exclusive built-from-the-ground-up Spider-Man Insomniac game 3 years into the generation. Even people in this thread, who aren't lem
  9. Acting like Lemmings are the only people saying this looks bad
  10. Yea, agreed. The Spider-Man and other Sony open-world action games are typically very similar... "Watch cinematic, open-world segment to do missions, ok time for story again.. back to cinematic, do a linear level, cinematic again, ok back to open world, cinematic again... and on and on"... Games like TOTK and Elden Ring are like.. "Watch cinematic to set up the story/world, go and explore on your own"... There's no comparison as to which ones are more fun to explore and play for me personally. Ubisoft and Sony type open worlds are like "here's the map, we've
  11. Read what I said again. I said their recent shows have been good for me personally because they show a lot of games which I've want to see more of. I don't need to justify a console box, and thus these conferences don't affect me the same. And this wasn't a question of whether or not they could have a good show, I said I doubted it could suck more than Sony's show... and that's referring to expectations set by Sony and their fans. I just finished telling you that if they don't show Perfect Dark, Fable, or Avowed, it will be a massive disappointment... because
  12. Well, if you were a Xbox console fan, probably been quite a while.. 2019 maybe? I think some of their relatively recent E3 shows were good as a PC gamer, which is how I view them. You get new looks at a lot of upcoming games, and there's lots of variety to the stuff shown typically. I think this year could be a pretty good show if they show off some of the shit that was announced forever ago. I mean they've got to be showing Fable, Perfect Dark, Avowed, right? I'm always down for Forza, so new gameplay showing off the career mode and a release date for later this year wo
  13. Eh, Sony's never really been about underselling their big massive AAA blockbusters. Usually, the pre-release media and trailers/gameplay is exactly what you can expect to see from the games at their best. Even the original Spider-Man PS4 demo showcased probably the best set-piece from the game. I think what we have here is Insomniac releasing many games in close succession to each other, as well as some technical reasonings for what we seem to be getting here. Spider-Man PS4 - 2018 Spider-Man: Miles Morales - 2020 Spider-Man Remastered - 2020 Rat
  14. Looks like Sony's tightening up across many of their studios like the rest of the industry. Presumably the game this person is talking about was the TLOU Factions game, and due to a big pivot in direction has caused Playstation Visual Arts to go through downsizing and restructuring The sucks. PSVA basically has their hands in everything Playstation and contributes a lot to making their games so great visually.. Hell they're even helping with Death Stranding 2.
  15. I suppose so. Time will tell if that was the right decision or not. I didn't know Factions was going to be GaaS either. We really didn't know anything about it. For all we know, it's not just GaaS games Bungie has under their purview but perhaps all multiplayer initiatives coming from Sony? I mean, it's a good idea at its core. They could be absolutely justified with holding it back or scaling it down for all we know.. We've heard time and time again that you don't necessarily see the issues with something until late in development.. MP games are very tricky. Som
  16. That's exactly what he's pathetically going to do Still though... you've got to let him try and fail if you want him to learn
  17. And because we know it's going to happen... here comes Jerky to try to carry his friend
  18. Yeah it's kind of a similar situation to BOTW and TOTK. Basically TOTK looks like BOTW at a glance, but when you play it you realize just how much harder they went with everything. Tears of the Kingdom, despite looking visually similar to BOTW, it doing a LOT more technically under the hood which you cant appreciate until you play it yourself. Perhaps it's the same thing here, and there's going to be some crazy cool new shit you can do that they wanted to keep as a surprise? I know the city is definitely much bigger, and it looks to be more varied. I just expected it
  19. Yea, there are parts of the city which look a lot better than the past games, like the water sections, and certain aspects of the shadows and ambient occlusion which makes it look to have a bit more depth. Switching between Miles and Peter instantly is cool. In the trailer there's conveniently a cutscene before you press square to switch to Miles, but I wonder if during normal gameplay you can just switch back and forth between them at your own discretion when crimes/store beats are happening in certain districts? That would be awesome.
