For real. I mean, you can hate on MS and their lack of first party output for it, but GamePass is a phenomenal value to a large group of people. If you're the type of person who doesn't care about building a library of games, and just wants to try a bunch of stuff to see what you end up liking... then it's incredible for that. And the fact that many developers have stated their successes with it, and that some games wouldn't even be pitched without GamePass existing, like Pentiment, goes to show there's value there for both gamers and creators.

Yeah, it's really quite good. The new RT Shadows are really quite taxing though, you can literally half your FPS just by turning them on.. and in some cases they look way better.. and in other cases they have some weird issues. Overall probably not worth the performance hit for most people. The RT Shadows are really hard on the CPU, and unless you've got a top of the line Intel CPU, you instantly notice the hit in the open world, the CPU demands can drop the FPS to like 70-80... but that's where DLSS3 comes into play. This looks like some kinda bug... but if it's like that in moments with a lot of movement, that's going to hurt the game a lot. Other parts of other trailers have shown some pretty bad performance at times too, so it could just be lack of optimization. I'm pretty confident they'll fix that though.
